Well yeah, I belived the point of that scene was to drive home what a low moral, sleaze Jarred is, removing it makes me think WW is trying to make him juuuuuust slightly more agreeable to eventualy make the player's choice to kill him slightly more contemplative.

He still agrees to "Charlie's" blowjob at SIN's party tho. The guy is really asking for a thorough CBT session. Oh, if I remember correctly the order in wich you visit the rooms at the SIN lab alters the events, you might have missed it. Edit: (superfapmancer already anwered this)

Doubt it would happen, Deryl is a freak but he is straighter than a German highway, but I for one wanna see that regardless, if Deryl was a female and love interest he'd be number 1, man is more loyal than anyone, dude was ride till death from the beginning, Deryl is the best friend and a true bro and if he was a girl he'd be wife material.

Also no way there will be anything involving Alice and Michael, I seriously doubt she and him will be back after missing for a single update, no way.

The Last Update was very Location Heavy. We did the Cult Investigation, and now it seems like we're moving onto Indra x Zack Location. I doubt the ACTUAL Fight between the MC and Indra will happen, but I would be surprised if we didn't see snippets of Lore surrounding him, or at the very least, more H.E.R.O. Cast perhaps dispatched to that Location, where a Captain failed/went MIA.

Might make a H.E.R.O. H.Q Pitstop first tho.

I dunno man, I think an Evolution to 4 will be the LAST Update before the Big 1.0. Maybe the Update after this one to finish it End/Start of the Year, assuming he doesn't do the Final Update WITH the 1.0 Rework.

Wouldn't be surprised if he HINTED at the Evolution before a Cliffhanger though.

Female clone Deryl is surprisingly plausible. In the conversation after the Battle of Diamonds, when asking him what his plan was, he says that making a female clone and fusing with it was the final step in his monster self's plan after it reabsorbed the other clones. It makes sense, he wanted to become a Rebis and the Rebis is hermaphroditic. And Deryl's been talking lately about getting a power boost by completing his transformation into a Rebis, so...

For that matter, Deryl has outright stated that he wonders what it's like to be a woman, and has envy for pretty women. It comes up in one branch of the truth-or-dare game. And he shows a lot of interest in the MC becoming a futa if that's the route he takes in the cheerleader infiltration. So put it all together and I would not actually be that surprised if we got Deryl making a female clone and then fusing with it to become futa Deryl. I mean, the guy literally plans to be reborn in a new body after hatching from an egg, it's hard to have more trans symbolism than that.

It's a visual metaphor. The pseudoscience of alchemy was based in the idea of uniting matter and spirit, so alchemists liked symbolism that combined other binaries. Sun and moon, gold and silver, sulfur and salt (that's a binary that doesn't make sense in the modern day, but they used to be paired), and, of course, male and female. That last one means that fiction that deals with alchemy tends to have a lot of hermaphroditic super-beings.

Hell if I know if it has any in-universe reason, though. Maybe something to do with the twin Aspostle pairs? It does seem like some of the pairs are gender-coded, even if the Apostles don't really have gender. Like, Authority's design is feminine and Power's is masculine, Body is refered to as the MC's father and Memory as their mother, Dark is the most explicitly male of any of the Apostles and references a bride that might have been Light...I don't know, it's just a guess. Probably is just the reference to real-world alchemy.

My guess is that Indra will be involved. If the MC is to die, it would be most dramatically satisfying for his death to be at the hands of the man who killed his mother and who wields his greatest weakness. You could even parallel Syla's death, with the MC finally figuring out how to manage his electricity absorption, only to be overpowered. That could be a cool way for the MC to beat the electricity weakness. Well, once he revives and can practice what he figured out, that is.
