Been a long time since 39. Have been wondering when that chekov's gun will go off
My guess is that Indra will be involved. If the MC is to die, it would be most dramatically satisfying for his death to be at the hands of the man who killed his mother and who wields his greatest weakness. You could even parallel Syla's death, with the MC finally figuring out how to manage his electricity absorption, only to be overpowered. That could be a cool way for the MC to beat the electricity weakness. Well, once he revives and can practice what he figured out, that is.

Lol Imagine if Indra would just one shot MC and he wouldnt even get the time to figure out how to overcome that weakness. Like he wouldnt even be electrocuted just straight up killed instantly. You know that one meme where a speeding truck barely touches a guy and hes teleported to heaven not knowing what happened. Thats why I think MC needs to be atleast level 5 to even stand a chance against Indra. Maybe Im overestimating Indra and/or underestimating the MC. Plus MCs weakness is purely a genetic mutation so his path to curing it would probably be different than Syla's.

I feel like the way it's being portrayed is sort of a genetic memory type of thing, especially with how much the story is playing up Memory's role in MC's power at the time we see Sylla overcoming it. My guess is that because that's how Sylla overcame it, that's exactly how MC will overcome it (and if she'd overcome it before MC was conceived he wouldn't have had the flaw at all). I think when Indra starts frying him with lightning he's gonna remember back to it being done to his mother and with the same pure willpower and emotion start shrugging it off. Maybe we'll get a bonus point toward that in the fight if we chose to want revenge on Indra.

The path to level 5 is gonna be wild though. It's so far away that it's fun to imagine that MC being completely overwhelmed by Indra's lightning at level 4 is exactly what would cause evolving to 5. Maybe getting rid of that flaw is even one of his requirements to hit 5 naturally. It would be hype as hell. The big question would be how could MC beat/survive Indra after that, especially if he doesn't have control of any of the Origin power yet. Or hell given how we last saw Zack, maybe it's gonna be how MC gets to level 4, and the Eye will wake up again and give him enough of a boost on top of the evolution trance to get him out alive.

Oh, now that I think about it, the reason Indra hasn't killed MC yet is because he forgot about his existance, once MC is revived by Nyx, how exactly could WW prevent Indra from going after the MC again?

Theory: The MC’s Hidden Lineage – 1% from the Apostle of Darkness?

We know the protagonist’s lineage is split: 49% and 50%. But what about that remaining 1%? What if it comes from the Apostle of Darkness? Several clues seem to support this idea:

1. The false evolution during the fight with Cole
If we choose the false evolution option, a dark creature appears. This could be a manifestation of that hidden lineage connected to the Apostle of Darkness.

2. The Apostle’s alternate path when not connected
If we don’t follow the Apostle’s path, the ending plays out differently. He takes us back, as if there’s a unique bond with the MC. That could be a reference to the MC having a different destiny due to that 1% lineage.

3. Syla and Valravn’s strong relationship
Valravn follows his Apostle with unwavering loyalty. If Syla had that 1% of the Apostle of Darkness’s lineage, it wouldn’t be strange for Valravn to have a good relationship with her.

4. Valravn’s words during the dream world battle
When Valravn fights the MC in the dream world, he says something like: “Your abilities will serve my Apostle well” (I don’t remember the exact line, but that was the general idea).

WW already stated in a livestream that the 1% is a mix of the other apostles.
