Alright, finished the update. Early review. Spoiler free, of course. Mostly, anyway.

Update was great. There was a lot to unpack in here. A lot of information was given. A lot of stuff went a bit different from what I was thinking. I'm sure that some events would be changed based on some previous choices. Sex scenes were peak and my queen,Nico, was undoubtedly the star of the update for me. WW cooked hard with her. I can't forget my other queen Lexi as well. Her scene was equally as hot, if not better, if I'm being honest. Hell, even Melody and Eira were great. Especially the second one. WW should've introduced her earlier. Not going to lie, I like her a lot.

Anyway, that ending was definitely something. The long wait for the next update might actually be horrifying.

No. I took a look at the script, there's no path that leads to you getting them. Even though the Eye outright tells you to take the claw, if you go to the gala in male form. First we don't get to eat Yuren's brain, now we don't get this claw, so much teasing with unobtainable upgrades lately.

Had a moment to sit with the update, here's my thoughts in no particular order:

  • I imagine a lot of the delay was with the various Jake scenes, surprisingly more than I expected given his potentially dead status.
  • I liked the alternative viewing angles, it definitely adds more dynamic to sex scenes.
  • Black Mouth infecting Zack is probably even worse than my initial thought of merely kidnapping, really spooky if true.
  • Black Mouth potentially being an old superhuman is also really interesting.
  • Really surprised there was no Christie or Emily infection scene. The set-up was there and everything, but now I'm wondering if that's even going to happen now. It could still happen, but with them being at the party it means they aren't in the same place anymore.
  • Woooo, Wasting Mother mentioned! And apparently might be the first thing to give the Big 3 a run for their money, considering Bernie had to go help Malik out. 43 billion lightyears is a long fucking way.
  • Portal travel not being instant... kinda makes sense, even if only slightly. And this feels like a pretty massive upgrade to our understanding of Nico's effective range, even if accounting for the Clark buff.
  • So the first three Spheres are the Material Sphere (our world), the Anti-Material Sphere (an antimatter world), and the Immaterial Sphere (the dream world). There appears to be an implication that each Sphere might have a twin partner, so I wonder if such a partner exists for the Immaterial.
  • Tying Creation/Destruction to matter/anti-matter is interesting.
  • Doll Ella being a no show is suspicious.
  • With the knowledge that Bernie and Malik are basically destroying planets, the fact that it takes several years for them to make it to the monster world is telling, especially considering the ritual presumably ends next update. I'm not sure how to reconcile this with what we know.
  • The Tiffany love points start finally mattering! It was only a matter of time.
  • We get the opportunity to officially start the Alexis romance if you choose her over Nico, about time.
  • MC potentially becoming a Lieutenant in Henri's new team is exciting. I wonder what the team name will be.
  • I was not expecting Melody and Eira to be in Zack's group.
  • ...The mohawk girl is a dude??? Could've fooled me.

It would have to be be Team Cthulhu, wouldn't it? Cthulhu is actually Henri's code name, not Bernhardt's. Bernhardt's team just uses it because...I don't know, maybe Bernhardt thinks his code name is embarassing? Whatever the reason, I'd expect that if Cthulhu is getting his own team, he'd take the name with him when he left. And then Bernhardt would have to finally reveal his own.

Weirdworld cooked big time on this update, I can forgive him cucking us of the last fight LOL.


My favorite scene ought to be this one, shocked me for a solid 3-5 seconds and made me question myself if I had hit a Bad End somehow. 10/10 delivery and I will use it for memes:
