Beyond my horrible sense of humor, since Level 3 was the Strengthening Stage and the one where they get unlimited growth potential, my guess would be on:
-Permanent and sturdier armor. This is guaranteed for me since it has been stated multiple times the superhuman psychology directly influences the path their powers evolve. Laurie was afraid of fighting in close quarters, and additionally got jumped out by Jared's arrow because her neck was exposed after the Battle of Diamonds due to how broken her armor became. This would likely further mark Laurie and make her more wary in battle. An improved armor would serve this purpose.
-Further developed crystals. A good guess for me. We have seen her make mostly daggers, a sword and other small projectiles. Next step may be to go bigger... and smaller. Look at Alexis, she controls iron and at her current level can make Kaiju-size swords burst from the ground. I expect Laurie to be able to make bigger crystals (maybe as barriers, support structures, giant bullets HERO can shoot...) and as I said before, with more finer control she could make microcrystals. Remember the flying bat that Laurie couldn't reach at range? or her been swarmed by the lil' Chimeralings and being pinned until they touched the armor and became infected? Just release a cloud of tiny crystals (bonus points if she learns how to further control their movement on the air) and let the monsters breath them or enter through an opening for the infection to set in. Also...
-Crystal infection control. Maybe it happens? Not fully sure... Basically, instead of 'the more crystal you touch, the faster the infection', how about timed-infection crystals? It's not directly useful in a battle as is but think about it: HERO uses conscripts with an explosive brain implant (Jake as a source). If a mischievous superhuman (MC lol) could use their power to remove the implant/survive the blast, what now? You can't spare high-level superhumans to hunt rogue ones all the time, you need Authority-based powers to keep them in line... or a Crystal Infection that could onset with just an order from Laurie. Not only would be useful, but it would also benefit Laurie as it would make her more a support superhuman, hence more work without fighting. It would be a possible evolution path to take.
I could make more guesses, but these seem grounded enough for me beyond the "she'll be faster and stronger!" which is obvious due the evolution. I guess we will have to wait and hope she becomes relevant again

No, he just used his powers for the first time, since his Pure Second Trait works by 'eating' energy from those he kill, up to that point Michael was fighting just with his enhanced Body after being infected, since he was just either sparring or using that simulated world to train in which you can't die for real.
i doubt they would let laurie do that plus what if she went rogue and planted it in all the leaders heads? so if she did develop an ability like that she probably would be kept under secret watch.As of now? She would probably breath better...

If by leaders you mean Captains + Lieutenants, my guess is they could purge the power from the crystal infection easily regardless of their type of power... My fault for not specifying, but I meant using Laurie on those with the same/lower evolution.
As by them not letting her due 'going rogue' concerns, they already have everyone newly recruited (that we know of) screened by just one superhuman, Sharoon (Helmet girl with memory powers).
Sharoon could very well go rouge/collaborate to infiltrate SIN on their ranks, yet HERO apparently doesn't mind that much to depend on one superhuman for arguably important tasks like screening new recruits/keeping conscripts in line as in my example (Deus doesn't count because here we see Xante and Dexter arguing how Deus is sus but at the time Zack is in coma and they need the replacement...)
To sum up, your concern is valid, yet I disagree. HERO has proven, for better and for worse, to not care that much to have very important tasks depend on one single superhuman... Hell, Nyx gives her mark to Liutenants and VIP people and no one bats an eye at "but what if Nyx goes rogue?" and she's a fuckton way more corrupted and also sus in my opinion, with her power way more dangerous than any crystal infection Laurie could do, even on same level, to the point of Malik saying "If Nyx gets you, you got good".
They would likely scrutinize Laurie to see if she's fit for a specialist role (keeping in check the conscripts) and if she's good enough I don't see why they wouldn't let her... not all conscripts mind you, just probably the ones that could survive a brain explosion. but I honestly don't think the big fish in HERO gasping at Laurie's evolution report and saying "ThIs iS tOo dAnGeRoUs, wHaT If ShE WeNt RogUe??????"
To be fair to Nyx here, no one bats an eye about her because she's been part of the group since the old days before they were HERO. I imagine anyone that was part of the original military group implicitly trusts each other's loyalty.

Yeah, that seem to be the case, the original M-Division seem very tight with each other, which is natural since they had known each other for like, fifty years, Nyx was personally recruited by Malik, Bern and Henri. And she herself looked angry at the prospect of Zack ending as a puppet, not in the 'Damn, that would be difficult to deal with', but angry as in a close one being used(at least I get that feeling), that and, every Captain is corrupted as fuck, like even Malik who's the nicest has a kill count dozens of times larger than MC on full corruption route.
