Personally i really liked the MC from Superhuman. Sure he comes off a bit dumb and gullible at times, but it feels more like he just doesn’t give a fuck about most things, and that’s just part of his character. It fits him.

Now to answer your question, I’d say Orion from Eternum.
I guess I think it's more that he has no idea what's going on rather than not giving a fuck but there are endless ways to take it. Eternum is another one where I had to change the name. I also have that MC marked as a class 5 (out of 5) derp. Pretty much same reasons as for this guy. Clueless, easily startled, too much introspection, complaining, etc. Also a title that I really love I just thing Chang should be the MC. ;)

I have had someone help me understand (and maybe this is roughly how you feel) that some folks like that kind of MC. I respect that, no shade. Wouldn't want to talk anyone into my position or feel it's superior. I think the naming actually helps me do that. Observe a goofy character for laughs rather than getting so pissed off that no "hero" would do what he does. Peace. :)

I mean ones where the main character has a defined personality
You know, this really made me think. "defined personality". I mean this MC has as defined personality through his involuntary (not chosen) dialog. I'd say most AVNs are like that as well. Gaming you could take someone like the MC from Fallout 4 which, to me, doesn't have a defined personality and compare her to Shepard who has a defined personality with some customization via dialog choices and LI selection.

Maybe it's just narcissist tendencies. Like I have a direction I think the MC should go and how he should act but when the story or dialog takes me away from it then I whine. Makes even more sense that the naming helps me I guess. Breaks that's that desire for control... at least a bit. Anyway I am trying to tolerate the frequent derpy MCs and I think kicking it around with y'all boys really helps thereby opening me up to more content. Cheers lads. :)

Well you definitely have a peculiar taste, that’s for sure. The MC can act goofy or whatever when things aren’t serious,I definitely don’t want a blunt robot as my main character. What matters is that when the situation gets serious, or when someone fucks with them or someone they care about, both this MC and Orion know how to stand on business.

Had a crush on her*. The only way for the NTR route to start is if the MC doesn’t help her and admits he doesn’t like her anymore. You’re just spewing shit bro, no offense. I read above where you said that while the MC liked Liz, she was having some flings, and you're calling that NTR? LMAO. Either you’ve never seen their flashback or your reading comprehension is on par with a chicken’s.

Back to the NTR topic, for NTR to actually matter, the MC has to care, and the girl has to at least enjoy it or do it willingly. Here, neither the MC gives a damn, nor does Liz do it because she loves the fat sponsor. So yeah, if you want to be a nerd about it, call it NTR, but it sure as hell doesn’t feel like one.
100% call that ntr, it's ntr by vndbs standards as well as our current site rules. And no, he doesn't have to say he doesn't like her, the ntr route starts when she doesn't get told not to agree by the mc.

Just because you have your own definition doesn't change anything. The dev considers it ntr, idk why you think you know better than him.

In fact, how can you try to lecture me on my reading comprehension as you quote the actual definition of ntr and don't see how it conflicts with what you're saying.

*I know y'all involved in a bit NTR war so just skip over this as I'm just venting. Don't say I didn't warn you.*

Let me start by saying I am enjoying myself with the title so far. It's fun, the style is cool and different and even the ridiculously huge boobs don't put me off that much as the characters are interesting. That being said this MC is becoming one of my least favorites of all time. His derp factor is so high I couldn't enjoy the title with my normal name and I had to restart with a derp name.

I actually tried to keep track of the amount of times he answers questions with "what? huh? err? why? huh? sigh" plus the endless complaining, useless introspection and the one trait you can normally count on to identify a derp. He's ridiculously easy to startle and his reaction is pure drama queen. "Waaaaaggghhh!" when someone unexpected speaks to him. We can add his perpensity to vocalize his thoughts at the worst time. Sprinkles on top. :)

I was keeping all this inside until the frat party. This is the moment after which I had to go and restart with a new name. During the party you eventually enter a room with Mutant Kenny and Jess. You and Mutant Kenny start to mix it up and you end up throwing him through the floor and into a room downstairs where he immediately start killing people.

Leaving out Ella's lines which could run parallel to the MC on the (it's all my fault) choice there are SEVENTY FOUR lines of dialog/introspection/panels before he finally jumps in the hole after the monster who has been constantly slaughtering students from the second he was thrown down there by the MC. Seventy four lines of "Should I do this? Should I do that? *girl screens* But what if this? But what if that? What should I do?!? I don't know! derp Derp DERP!!!

It really does help, thank you to whoever taught me this trick, to change the name from my own, which I normally use for a fun FPS experience to some derp name where I can think of the MC as a character seperate from me. I wasn't joking either I really am enjoying myself and am getting hooked into the story. Now if we could just get the MC a brain transplant I'd be gtg. ;)
Yeah, there have been plenty of jokes about the MC being a himbo. But he is also a guy who hasn't really been in many life-threatening situations at the start of the journey and he is unused to his abilities, meaning he will naturally struggle to think properly in combat. Don't worry though, he will show improvement over time (atleast in combat awareness).

Up until the frat party, I actually hated the game, I deleted it twice because I just couldn’t see what everyone was raving about. Honestly, when it comes to the MC’s personality and the repetition of certain phrases, I just see that as part of his generally apathetic character. If you pay attention, Liz actually mirrors him a lot in that way, although he’s also a pervert. But to me, his biggest strengths are courage and creativity. He’s not a genius, Ella would fit that role much better, but he adapts really well to different situations. And about him hesitating to go down and fight Kenny, I think that was just because it was his first real fight against another monster like that, ...besides the constant risk of being found out by people, which he obviously wanted to keep hidden. I don’t remember him hesitating after that point.

But it’s also important to point out that the MC is far, very far, from being a saint, especially if you choose the corruption path. In that route, you can let innocent people die, kill people close to you, even commit massacres of dozens of innocent lives. The vibe the game gives off in those moments is very nihilistic, like “it’s just a choice,” and often there are no real consequences for those actions. You can choose to be a heartless monster or something close to a hero, but in the end, it doesn’t really matter. In fact, sometimes being a monster seems to offer more benefits, like power, which honestly makes it feel a lot more realistic.

There is a problem with the shopkeep, if you refuse to buy one of the garbage stones the game just loops back to the shopkeep offering you to buy them again, this repeats infinitely until you buy one. It's a hard block that prevents you from continuing with the game unless you waste money on garbage. So I bought one of the stones(which I will never use), and then cheated to give my character 55,000 back, that's 11x what I had to spend on the worthless garbage because if the game is going to cheat me I will cheat it back a lot harder.
Go to Superhuman-0.9999-pc\game\scripts select and edit file eventsreturn.rpy with Notepad ++ Line 1731 jump shopselectmwreturn replace with return.Save exit and play

I just realized that Alice's father stole the monster corpse from MOON, and, seeing that as far as we know, MOON has no superhumans, it mean their technology from over 20 years ago could kill a monster that look very powerful

That's an interesting complaining(and i say that genuinely, in comparison to many others on the thread, yours actually put me to think), personally I don't dislike how awkward the MC is, but I think it plays that I from the start see him as his own character rather than an Avatar for me, leaving aside again, how weird he can be, some stuff he does is pretty, how to say it, extreme?, like he gets on the idea of whack random folks far to easily, is a good trait for a character that is his own self, but I can't see a 'vessel' for the player being as innately violent. Still, I think MC being the way he is does make sense, considering how his Mother was, if anything I'm surprised he is as well adjusted.

Yeah, there are a lot of implications that Markus stole the monster corpse from the lab that was experimenting on Syla. It means that he actually hired Tanos to experiment on something stolen from Tanos. That must have been an awkward moment.

We can pretty much confirm that Aos is afraid of a certain... clown, or maybe a certain anomaly that can predict everything he does with pinpoint accuracy and wears some kind of visor?

Something that I liked a good deal from this update, is the emphasis the game(mainly via Stephen) make in how powerful the Captains as a whole are, I feel like in the past, the main spotlight was on just the Trio, but Truth be told, all the Captains are special, even if not to the same extent, that line about how 'They would live on' even if Humanity and the Planet itself fall was cool for two reasons, for one is proper glaze, and two would make more impactful when we finally get to see a Captain being killed on-screen.

Still in the topic of Captains, I don't know if this is a hot take, but man, I really like Lucius, he's such an arrogant asshole, but on a entertaining way, like when he talks shit about Lisa, or when he simply shrug off insults instead of getting offended, because in his head, he's actually the top dog, and as far is about how good his election of clothing and equipment, he actually is. Is also nice to see how WeirdWorld allow Lucius to be actually cool, despite being such an arse, a single clone of his make Aos let out a grunt of effort while blocking his attack(that wasn't a dirty one, Aos already had noticed Lucius), same Aos that make an Ancient S-Class Monster run away from him.

Yeah, is definitely either Henri or Deus, even if Aos is aware than Malik and Bernhardt can stomp him, that shouldn't be enough to make him afraid, Aos isn't even afraid of his own 'Lord', the 6th Apostle, not even afraid of Death as is, so Deus or Henri might represent something potentially worse than dying for him. There is also the fact that Henri is the same than the Lord of the Sea and Aos' own Sky Queen, about Deus though, even Valravn feel disgusted with him, his presence being unbearable and wanted to put as much distance between the two as possible.
