Gonna be real, I will never understand the hate for Jake. I get him going against the MC and fucking up Mia's brain was kinda fucked, but the Mia situation was unintentional. As for the Prison Arc, he only followed Ella's orders in order to restore Mia's memories. Not to mention I'm pretty sure Ella quite literally shapeshifted into MC and acted like an asshole towards him to make Jake think MC didn't like him. That part where Jake got Amber and Liz to show him their tits is weird but MC kinda does some weird shit like that too (given you chose to shapeshift into a girl and go inthe cheerleader's locker room.) After you beat him, he tries to help in any way he can and just keeps to himself for the most part. I honestly just see him as another victim of Ella's BS, which is more than I can say for Cole, who's just a douche through and through.

Nope but that usually means that WW is burning the midnight oil trying to put the finishing touches on the update before releasing it on tuesday night or some other strange time. This has been the timeline the last bunch of updates where WW drops off the planet before dropping the update on some random ass weekday night then go back into hiding for a few days trying to get back on lost sleep I guess.
WW might not be the absolute best at communicating with the crowd but at least I know that he works on his shit when hes invisible instead of the other H-game maker favourite that we all have grown to love, you know doing fuck all for 6 months then get back and drop a line about working on their "mental health".

I think HERO keeps certain sets of monsters alive to keep making serums that turn humans into specific superhumans. Basically, we don't know the Minyak's fate. They're not exactly powerful monsters and HERO now knows Ella caused them to come via pills so there's really nothing left to learn. Minus the Black Sea stuff.

I think its kind of a personal thing. Some people sympathize with how a character who has constantly been the "little guy" was given power and pushed way out of their depth kinda loses their mind and becomes exactly as toxic as the people they hated. Others don't feel anything for that arc or self identify with MC (and therefore don't care since Jake becomes your enemy regardless) or a bunch of other reasons not to get attached to Jake in a sympathetic way. People can experience the exact same story in different ways. Its a mark of good writing on WW's part really.

True. I didn't care that he was being manipulated. He still chose that path himself, even if you were nice to him. He did shit outside of Ella's influence and legit pointed the finger at the MC just to justify his own actions. He also pieced together that Ella was fucking with him and still went along with it.
And before people act like he had a gun pointed to his head, he legit did what he could've done already after you beat him. Nothing stopped him from saying no to Ella or even leaving. He already fixed Mia and could've went to search for other alternatives or to accept the MC's help. He waited until he caused all of that shit to then want to do the right thing.
So yeah, I felt no pity and I got it back in blood. He'll have to live with that regret in my memory. You don't get to toy with my life and mess with my friends just because you were being manipulated. His actions had consequences and ignoring it because Ella pushed for it doesn't make it excusable.
Don't even get it twisted, Ella is up next, too.
