M77: Udug
One of the most different monsters of the game. Info from the wiki:
------
Udug began as a body carved from iron by the 12th Apostle. The Apostle then gave it life using the traits of monsters from the 2nd Apostle and 9th Apostle's lineages. The finished monster took the appearance of a weapon of incredible power but in truth carried a powerful mineral based infection.
By design, the temptation to wield such a weapon is too great to bear so a wielder will begin to use it and be granted tremendous power. The weapon could fell armies, crumble castles, and destroy kingdoms with a single shot. Over time though the weapon would begin to shape itself in the likeness of wielder, slowly spreading across their bodies into an unstoppable suit of armor. After this stage the monster would then fully fuse to its host, granting them even greater powers.
Only once this full integration with the host is complete is an Udug truly born. A single arm hosting the mind, spirit, and power of an A class monster with its host reduced to simply being a body that facilitates movement. At this point its host's mind is almost entirely consumed by the parasite so the monster will largely revert to instinctual behavior. As such it is highly sensitive to ambient energy and has no need for eyes or ears to locate prey. It feasts on the energy of its prey rather than their flesh.

The question that I want to ask is: What would a superhuman infected by it be like? How powerful could it become? What abilities not present in its progenitor could it develop?
My vision: It would begin as a parasite in the form of a weapon for the superhuman, and the more it’s used, the greater the chance of becoming a monster. Therefore, the superhuman would need to evolve quickly—possibly more than once—so that the risk of monsterification from simply using its power decreases or even becomes null. But here’s the twist: the superhuman’s evolution process could be far more dangerous than that of other superhumans, always carrying a high chance of monsterification.
