This game wouldn't be the same without its incest element.
Sure, but it isn't main selling point of the game. It would still be fun to play as a young, lust-flawed superhero fucking around school and with heroines and villianess, without incest element. Without MC, Sympathetic Link and coercion it wouldn't be anything in this game. Just a dating sim with poorly written characters.
As somebody who funds this project, I can tell you in complete honesty that incest is
exactly the main selling point of the game for me. The mind control pieces are a wonderful bonus and there's a lot of great stuff in the game aside from it, but the heart of this game in my mind is always the family story. The mother and sister are the most interesting characters in the game, they have by far the most events, and the tone of their scenes would be
very different if they were just a landlady and a roommate. Also, I'm not even sure that the main story of the game would work if the mother was just some unrelated busybody who rents out the main character's apartment. As long as the kid pays rent on time, what does she care if he gets through school? Would he still need to mind control her to bang her? Why would the initiative even care if he mind controlled his landlady or roommate as opposed to anybody he goes to school with?
Hopefully it won't come to that, though. Patches have done their job pretty well and there's no guarantee that Patreon will keep enforcing their content standard policies as zealously as they are now or even bother Baal about it. But if he really changes the relationships and (for example) cuts out any further development of the sister and mother characters for the foreseeable future, I would have to seriously reconsider whether I wanted to keep funding the game or not.
