Is there any "Redemption" plot or something there? What I mean is if Billy uses his SPowers in the begining as EVERYONE would (i.e. chasing tail and ignoring that Power = responsibility) does he get any "toc toc, reality at the door" event? Like say a friend being killed\ attacked or something to remind him that there is a world that needs superheroes?
There's an oversight/punishment system for super powered individuals that go a more immoral/criminal path, which also includes Billy's willpower getting too low and he starts masturbating in public (it's the first flaw from super powers that we're introduced to, and the only one that actually has direct impact, but the strength of it is enhanced by other flaws).
Kind of a "three strikes" system, in that you have to have done a certain amount of negative things which leads to the "Super Police" coming along and arresting you.
There are methods to combat it, in the sense of working to overcome it, but no plot line or story based method. The methods are part world building (training systems offered for superheroes in training) as well as the ever reliable "private time" in Billy's bedroom. Basically, to avoid Game Over from being too horny but at the same time allowing for a manageable "treatment" for the various flaws and side effect of "compulsive" public masturbation, in a similar vein as Blade taking a serum to sate his vampire nature without having to resort to directly feeding on human blood.
There is also a character alignment scale that changes based upon our choices/actions, which does impact available options in regards to at least one character, although it is purely sexual related in this instance.
So far the scale doesn't lock you into "Good guy/Bad guy" archetypes by tying it to abilities, and I hope it never does.
A good place to start getting an idea of the world building that's currently in the game, and might give you an idea of what is to come too, would be the game's wiki page - link in the thread's Opening Post.
It's also a handy guide for characters, so you can know what you want to see and/or avoid seeing if you choose.
As for all the various types of fetish/niches, I personally like the variety.
In what is a very sandbox experience for a superhero themed game, it actually works better toward role-playing different kinds of character.
Yes, the only character we get to do this with is Billy, but it allows for different versions. A "Multiverse" approach to the character.
He can be a "FUCK ALL THE PUSSY" selfish ass, or a kinder and (dare I say) more heroic character, depending on how we play him.
Despite your reservations, I do recommend going for the former at some point during a future play-through though. Simply to see the differences. After that, stick to whatever you want, just as long as you remember this one is still primarily focused around sex/porn content.
