I think the same as you, but sometimes the immersion is not good in these games, at least not psychologically speaking. Please give the player the option to rename the mc in the begging of the game. forced default mc names ruin the emersion for some of us.
Original ^^Is the compressed at OP and official one or a fan one?
I'm sorry, that's just how game development works on Ren'Py and Daz. For example, if I spend the same amount of time developing a game on Unity and on Ren'Py, after two days I can create poses and other character-related stuff in Daz. Then it takes another two days to render them. After that, I need to program them, which takes another day. Then, I need to manually place them in all the locations, which takes another one or two days. Ultimately, it takes a week to display the characters. Additionally, in each new location, I have to place them again. Now, let's compare this to the development of my new 3D game on Unity. I just recently created a relationship system for characters within a week. It displays the relationship between all the characters when one of them is clicked, and shows mini copies of the characters on the screen with their names and other details. There are 40 characters displayed on the screen because I don't need to place poses for each individual model - they all come from one model. That eliminates two days of development for pose placement. I don't need to render this because Unity renders 3D models in real-time, eliminating another two days of development. After that, I only need to program and debug it. As a result, I get more characters and content compared to a 2D game. So, sorry, I don't see how I can speed up the development of a 2D game. I hope you'll like my new 3D game more when I release it in a month or two ~Well, I just looked at the changelog. New character display seriously? Since 2019 the game is hardly evolving and it adds new characters, while with the other ones there is almost nothing. I give up this game, it leaves in ignore thread, it goes with many others in the oblivion.
