I noticed the Yinlin 4k file is the same size as the 2k file. Same with Ruan Mei.

Does that mean the 2K file is technically higher quality? Because there's no way two files are both the same size and the same quality whilst one is twice the resolution.

If they've both been encoded the same way, yes the lower resolution one would generally be higher quality. But there's a point where higher bitrate at lower resolution has diminishing returns where it would then benefit from higher resolution. Looking at his latest release, the 4K file is twice the size of the 1440p and 1080p ones.

There's no grace animation, only 1 image. If the new updated archive is posted you can find it in the ZZZ folder. I saw it before the mega link died. But yeah no grace animation
