So do you just keep pushing as far as you can before running out of turn then keep going with ng+?

Idk how I feel about this system coz there just so much repeating kinda kills the pacing of the story for me.
yes, this game is designed around ng+, you need it or otherwise you will allways stuck on some high lvl mobs or run out of turns
friendly advise; grind forrest location to lvl 30 first(works with other places too), then in ng+ it will level up much faster, this is your main xp farm for units up to lvl 50
and enjoy the game, collect endings etc

Ya I feel like I hate hard break points where I just don't level up dungeon fast enough to get the extra turns to keep going like even though I win all the fights I just physically can't progress. Idk how I feel about this because it kinda give me sense of idk wtf I'm suppose to do lol. It make me feel like I'm doing something wrong when I'm not.

Also anyway to know which units are worth investing in? Coz they all kinda look the same stats wise starting out.

In NG+ the floors you already complete some of them will be skipped in the interval of 5.
So for each playthrough focus on fully completing a dungeon and then go to the higher tier dungeon, in a next playthrough it depends on if you want the reward or just unlock and do the higher dungeons.

Some units have range attacks and healing that cover multiple floors, some have skills and stats that are tanks, some have poison that should be used in early floors.
You can look at the enemy units to give you and idea on how to build them.

Welp, I sure do get it now, why SofthouseChara went out of business.

They've made a big mistake with their focus on these lap systems, hence why Bunny Black may also ne one of their more successful or at least more liked works. While I think I can bear with it, unlike how I couldn't with Wizard Climbers (awful RNG on top), it is a big bummer still. It is also ironic how removing the turns would turn this into an even more awful grindfest considering that one would get the bonuses only once.

While there is a big appeal found in NG+ to add replayability, this is very different due to the sheer number of them and the inability to get a good ending plausibly without going round and round. It is also very different to Majora's Mask where the cycle carries a lot of meanings but, never mind being the sole one, stretching play time is not one of them.

Of course, the gameplay is also rather disappointing in other ways. Is it really that difficult to make a good dungeon builder games? Either one has Tower Defense games with or without third person action or this very restricted and also linear 'place either one trap or a combat unit per room (and the rooms are set)' experience.
Is there any other studio with the same quality as SofthouseChara?

So do you need to play the game twice to complete, or do several runs to ressurect her?
