Personall, I really enjoy the slow type of corruption where you can see the get sluttie and sluttier over time so the events are never pointless inn my opinion.

There are a ton of events and thousands of images.

With 0.7.1 the ability to download patches was introduced.
This means, you just have to download it once in full and patches after.

Alternatively, you can download the compressed version (Low Quality in OP), which is about 8 gigs smaller.

There are a ton of events and thousands of images.

With 0.7.1 the ability to download patches was introduced.
This means, you just have to download it once in full and patches after.

Alternatively, you can download the compressed version (Low Quality in OP), which is about 8 gigs smaller.

Yeah, those thousands of images might actually be the issue...

Anyway, my previous save was for the HQ version- so, unless the saves are compatible, I don't really want to start over. I've downloaded it anyway(thanks to nopyright), but I'm more concerned about the disproportion of the file size to the content rather than the size itself. Other games provide so much more with so much less; while this one seems intent on using a whole lot of something to depict a whole lot of not much.

The save files are fully compatible between Full and Compressed versions.

You have to take in account that there are 6 levels already completed with 3 to 4(maybe 5?) events each hour during the day at home.
There's also content for other ladies around the town and other places to visit.

If you want to create facial expressions, it takes a lot of images to accomplish that.

The slow built-up is not for everyone, I get that, but that's something that was decided by Patrons in a poll.

Not necessarily. More isn't always better, and it's not like the models are particularly good that you'd want to catch each and every minutiae. Now that I think about it, I'm actually kinda worried how the lq version might look like.

And I get slow build up, but this isn't that. This is slow development focused on fluffing out updates with filler- and liking that is fine. I'm just laying out the facts.

Yes, I wholeheartedly agree. It is only my opinion that it is filler.

However, the fact I was talking about is how the game delivers so little despite requiring so much and taking so long.

This state of the game would be impressive in a quarter of the time. Commendable in half. Two years, though? And requiring so much space?

You can be fine with that, but let's not kid ourselves.

I don't know, I think the game has a lot of content. For the amount of content it has right now I don't think the file size is that big. It is supposed to be a slow burn game, with a heavy focus on romance, and building the relationships between the characters. That is supposed to be the content of the game but people are just focusing on, if the game has penetration scenes or not and they just ignore all the rest.

Internet speeds across the globe vary wildly. I used to live in a city where I could easily get download speeds of 5 MByte/s ten years ago - I think that was even the slowest option available there.

At the moment, I live in an area where the net is still delivered through copper; My maximum available d/l speed is 1.5 MByte/s, the connection is prone to cutting out every once in a while - a single chunk of 10 GBytes takes me over two hours to download if nothing goes wrong.

Add to that that some areas and contracts have data caps on their rates, and, well: 10 Gigs can become quite an ask.

I think that there is great content progression - but it is not PornHub so no quick sex. There are literally hundreds of other VNs to choose from if you want to view something that gets to sex quicker.

This is simply not one of those VNs - and as a Patreon supporter, I'm perfectly happy that it is not.

This VN actually has character development and - yes - thousands of images which helps to tell the story since there is alot of the story that is enhanced via changes in facial expressions.

I understand that, as something many are taking for free here, they can find fault with: size of file/# of images/time of development etc, but as a Patreon, I can tell you that most of the Patreons are happy with what Boom and his team continue to deliver in SA/RIA.

I hope that you are able to find other VNs that are more to your liking.
