But I still had hope and played it from time to time - but from my point of view it got worse rather than better. So it's time to kick the game off the SSD and say ‘that's it’.

Simply start a new game, once in the house hit ESC and go to Cheats.
You can unlock all characters, level them up, unlock galleries etc.

Not really... money gain is passive, there is no need to repeat a single event; in fact, it's possible to even skip entire events (or even side characters).

I think they refer to the amount of text in the game. Just a guess, tho.
