VAs are not cheap either. It's just unrealistic at this point, sorry.

I've gotten through a lot of the side character content at this point, Jane really stood out as a favorite however all of them have been really good. I'm only on level 2 with the main two love interest characters so far so actually haven't gotten that far in where the central plot and updates are concerned seeing as they are up to level 10 at this point.This game is too heavy compared to the rest, so I wonder if it's worth playing?

And yes that heaviness for the characters is a good thing from my perspective. Came for the slow burn porn game, stayed for the punch to the feels.
My only complaint is that with all of the side characters our MC ends up sounding really really repetitive. He says and thinks "God." A LOT. I do kind of like the sudo-groundhog day effect we end up getting with the side characters though, where he's basically always starting fresh with any character and it basically feels like none of the other characters exist when going through each of the others.
The Diary pages really expand the stories letting us see glimpses of the other characters thoughts and feelings on things. Pretty nice mechanic actually.
So on the whole, yes, I think it's worth it if you don't mind the slow build up and all of the steps you go through for each character. If that's not what you're wanting and just to get to fun sexy times, there is a built in cheat function to just go and unlock everything and level characters up.

So it's based more on its story than on showing scenes right away, I'm not a fan of those types of games but this one looks promising so I'll try it

I think it's worth the time investment personally. But as I said, if you want to skip the early stuff there is a built in cheat function you can use in the game to automatically complete levels and skip to unlock the spicier scenes.
You are very vague as to what OS and quality but Gofile has it all, well except the doofus Android version.

I recommend going with the LQ - Low Quality - which is significantly smaller and then see if you like the AVN.
If you do, use the monthly update patch (something I've been doing for more than 1 year) and it's a relatively small download 1x/month.
If you have questions on how to patch the AVN, ask for help here and one of us will help - it's pretty easy IMO.

I can't believe that a bit less than a year ago this game was "only" around 20gb. What shocks me the most is that while the game looks decent it's nowhere near some of the good stuff out there. There honestly isn't that much content when you start actually playing the game, it's so much text/dialogue and I guess all the still pictures add up.
Anyways I like the game but it is pretty slow early on and you'd think the game would be packed with content only to realize that so many of the side characters barely have anything going on.

Some side characters were neglected due to polls.
But those characters are going to get content as well starting next month (I believe).
I will post the roadmaps when I get them.
Yes, the game is big because it has so many images and videos.
The original is well over 60 gigs (4k uncompressed) by now.
Both release versions are already heavily compressed.
Joblo made a post about it here showing why the game is this big.
It's over a year old, just add 13 months worth of updates to that.
