the point being made was the repetitive nature of m/s actions,only reason for adding side characters is to stop the boredom at this stage.game started in 2018-i dont expect anything of this dev only to repeat .i dont recall asking them not to nor did i tell them how to proceed-i simply stated how repetitive did it need to be for all these years.you say its part of its charm-good for you,i disagree.we are entitled to our opinions-we disagree,no probs.as for beating a dead horse perhaps you need to look closer to home,devs should tell a their story-patrons provide.when patrons dictate the story well there is no story,have a great evening

I had written another massive post responding to some of the negativity but ultimately deleted all off it because it's never going to change anyway and I'm getting tired of saying the same thing again and again.

And we as a team (Me and BloodyFace ) have decided that we are no longer going to respond to these kind of people.

We are all for a constructive conversation.

If you really want to play the latest version in Android, you can through the old version of Android. You can go on Google and search "Joiplay 1.01.701 download", there you'll find a patreon page with links for both the joiplay as well as the renpy plugin for it. Download and enjoy.

**Special Instructions:**
Install apk.
Grant storage permissions on first run!
On first run you will get a prompt to copy the archive.rpa files to "documents/Wills747/sweet.affection/game" folder.
Copy the rpa files to the directory indicated in game. (game will quit now)
Restart the game.
Keep in mind if your default install location is an actual SD card this may slow the launch.

You want to know what is really detrimental to my game?

That if I only go by my own download links and the amount of times they have been downloaded.
That 94% of the players are pirates.
That is even excluding the links that F95 itself provides, the torrent links and all the other links from other websites.
(So the real number is likely around 99%)

That, my friend.
That is detrimental to my game.

Don't get me wrong. I'm a pirate as well. We all are.
But if even 10% of the pirates would support me, I could hire someone to help me out and get really started on another game.
If you like the game, what's wrong with showing a little bit of support.
I could have finished this game by now and got started on Private Community.

I know that I have some supporters on here, and they know how thankful I am for that.
And, I also know that there are people that are simply not in the financial position to support me.
I would never tell someone that they should support me, or how they should support me.

But I'm getting a little bit tired of people telling me that I should move on, that I should abandon my project.
That I should finish it, or abandon it.
What do you guys think I've been trying to do for the past couple of years?
Been working non-stop for years providing updates month after month after month...

We provide our links, we provide help, we provide support, we provide updates.
And we get so much shit in return for that.
Up to the point where my team is regularly asking me why the heck we are still here on this website."
To which I always answer "I've been a player myself and know how nice it is when a developer is present on the forums, when you can actually talk with someone, and perhaps all that we have given in the past years will be given back at one stage."

Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of kind people on this forum as well.
They know who they are.
As well as a respectful, helpful and kind staff + moderators that is always there for me when I need help/support.
But, and my team already knows this.
Sweet Affection will be the last game that we are going to support here on F95.

Any links/help/support/news of future games, we are simply not going to do that anymore because we are done.
I'm done with people shitting on me, my team, my game and my fans.

(This message is not purely directed towards you, my apology if it seems that way. Just drops that overflow the bucket.)

Edit :
Perhaps people can change our mind in the future.
That we should stay on this website.
But if it keeps going as it's been going for the past 2 years, or so.
For my own sanity, we'll be leaving after we finish Sweet Affection.

(I already mostly left this website at this stage and asked BloodyFace to take care of things for me.
Simply because I'm already on the verge of leaving completely.)
