Sweet Affection Update 0.11.11
Let's start with this month's update.
We finished all the beta-testing yesterday and I have started making all the builds, today.
And tomorrow I am going to upload everything.
I am setting the release date at December 30th, 12PM GMT for Tier 3 and above.

Now, I want to start by thanking everyone for their incredible support.
Without you, I wouldn't have been able to create Sweet Affection.
Your support, your help and feedback helps me tremendously.
Whenever someone sends me a message saying that they love the game or what kind of impact it had on them.
It gives me energy to keep going and to keep giving you guys more and more.
12 updates I managed to create this year again.
Another full level of Sarah and Shannon their journey.
A journey that is slowly coming to an end.
Even though there will be plenty of work left in terms of completing the side-characters.
Sarah and Shannon have always had the spotlight and have been the majority of my workload.
I am proud that I managed to give all of you so much content for Sweet Affection.
Yet at the same time, I feel like I also need to apologize to you.
I had so much more plans for 2024.
Not only to make more progress with Sweet Affection and especially the side-characters.
But also when it comes to my new game, A.N.R
Maybe it was a bit unrealistic from me to expect to work on a game next to Sweet Affection.
Or maybe it is simply because I put so much of myself in Sweet Affection that it's hard to find the energy.
In my head, it is always very simple.
Sit down 2 hours every day and work on A.N.R.
That is always the plan, but in reality... that rarely happens.
Usually once I'm done with Sweet Affection for the day, I don't have anything left.
And after talking with other developers that have been developing their games for multiple years, they recognize that feeling.
There is only so much I can give and I'm afraid that I already gave so much in the past couple of years to Sweet Affection.
I think a change in direction is needed for me, otherwise I'm afraid things will never change.
And not just for me, also for Naughty Attic Gaming in general.
I think that if I keep going like this for another 2 or 3 years until Sweet Affection is 100% finished.
That my creator page will have declined to the stage where I need to find additional source of income.
I like developing and I love sharing these stories with all of you.
So I want to continue and try giving it my all.
To give all of you what you deserve.
Sweet Affection and a new journey with A.N.R
2026
So what does that mean for 2026?
I tried to keep the majority of my focus on Sweet Affection.
And even though that game will always be my top priority until the game is 100% finished.
I am going to devote more time to A.N.R.
I want to alternate between bigger and smaller updates for Sweet Affection.
During big updates, my focus will be completely on Sweet Affection during those months.

During small updates, I want to work 50/50 on Sweet Affection and A.N.R
(Either Sarah / Shannon or side Character)
Having moments where I could keep my focus on A.N.R for 2 weeks straight.
I think it would benefit me greatly.
I give so much of myself to Sweet Affection, I pour myself into every update.
Not only can that be rather draining, it also makes it hard for me to switch between modes.
To go from Sweet Affection to A.N.R.
I do want to make very clear that this is not an issue of motivation or lack of interest in Sweet Affection.
Professionally, it would probably be the best decision to end development of Sweet Affection sooner than later.
A suggestion that people have given me on multiple occasions.
But that is something I could never never do.
I owe it to you guys to fully finish Sweet Affection.
I owe it to all the characters themself to finish their stories.
And I owe it to myself to see this through till the end.
I love Sweet Affection, and I love all the characters.
Abandoning it is not even an option, simple as that.
But I do need to accept that in order to keep developing Sweet Affection.
That I need to devote more time into A.N.R
Not an easy decision, because the truth is.
If finances were not a factor, and Naughty Attic Gaming growth.
I would develop Sweet Affection for another 10 years.
I would remake some of it to make it all less bloated and make it flow better and introduce many more characters and stories within this world.
I understand that people that don't have any interest in A.N.R will be a bit disappointed by my decision to spend more time on it in 2026.
But I hope that you understand my decision.
And my promise to you is the one I gave you when I started Naughty Attic Gaming.
Sweet Affection will be finished, no matter what.
January and February will still go as planned.
January - Suzie content in the home location + Lucy Content.
February - Sarah / Shannon Level Up + Texts.
Starting March, I will devote a lot more time to A.N.R
I want to end this post by saying that I wish I can give all of you many more experiences in the years to come.
Sweet Affection, A.N.R and the many other ideas that I have.
I want to share it all with you and I will continue to give it my all.
And knowing how many people enjoy and appreciate my work.
It makes me incredibly happy.
