If you really want to play the latest version in Android, you can through the old version of Android. You can go on Google and search "Joiplay 1.01.701 download", there you'll find a patreon page with links for both the joiplay as well as the renpy plugin for it. Download and enjoy.

Ive been a fan for a while now, but honestly, this needs to move along because it's really dragging and it's detrimental to the game (IMO)

I doubt a high paying patreon will leak it. Wait until 14. May and public version will be here. Sometimes developer post it here a day earlier.
Updated my Android port to v0.10.5
You want to know what is really detrimental to my game?
That if I only go by my own download links and the amount of times they have been downloaded.
That 94% of the players are pirates.
That is even excluding the links that F95 itself provides, the torrent links and all the other links from other websites.
(So the real number is likely around 99%)

That is detrimental to my game.
Don't get me wrong. I'm a pirate as well. We all are.
But if even 10% of the pirates would support me, I could hire someone to help me out and get really started on another game.
If you like the game, what's wrong with showing a little bit of support.
I could have finished this game by now and got started on Private Community.
I know that I have some supporters on here, and they know how thankful I am for that.
And, I also know that there are people that are simply not in the financial position to support me.
I would never tell someone that they should support me, or how they should support me.
But I'm getting a little bit tired of people telling me that I should move on, that I should abandon my project.
That I should finish it, or abandon it.
What do you guys think I've been trying to do for the past couple of years?
Been working non-stop for years providing updates month after month after month...
We provide our links, we provide help, we provide support, we provide updates.
And we get so much shit in return for that.
Up to the point where my team is regularly asking me why the heck we are still here on this website."
To which I always answer "I've been a player myself and know how nice it is when a developer is present on the forums, when you can actually talk with someone, and perhaps all that we have given in the past years will be given back at one stage."
Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of kind people on this forum as well.
They know who they are.
As well as a respectful, helpful and kind staff + moderators that is always there for me when I need help/support.
But, and my team already knows this.
Sweet Affection will be the last game that we are going to support here on F95.
Any links/help/support/news of future games, we are simply not going to do that anymore because we are done.
I'm done with people shitting on me, my team, my game and my fans.
(This message is not purely directed towards you, my apology if it seems that way. Just drops that overflow the bucket.)

That we should stay on this website.
But if it keeps going as it's been going for the past 2 years, or so.
For my own sanity, we'll be leaving after we finish Sweet Affection.
(I already mostly left this website at this stage and asked BloodyFace to take care of things for me.
Simply because I'm already on the verge of leaving completely.)

I hope you dont think I was being negative, I was actually trying to be constructive. I have been a sub of yours for quite some time (and not at the lower level either) and I don't think your post is actually helpful to get more subs to be honest.
If you only want criticism that praises you, then yes, that's bad for your game. Keeping an open mind and listening to what people are saying believe it or not can actually help your game.
Seriously, the past few updates with M/S are just basically rehashes of the same events in different settings. That's not very appealing or interesting. I was quite disappointed. Then again, that's just me. Maybe your other fans actually enjoy it... I don't know, maybe your sub numbers can tell you the story, if they are declining or not...
Btw, I was a dev myself and actually had the same gripes you have. The number of d/l's of my game were FAR FAR FAR from what the revenue should have been. That's just how it is and the reality of our space. I decided it wasn't worth my time as I could use my time alot more lucratively doing other things. In a way, I gave up something I really enjoyed doing but in another way Ive replaced it enjoying having time to myself and my family and actually being richer lol.
I don't know your situation, it's your game so do as you will and what you think is best for your game and yourself. Just keep an open mind.
EDIT: Also, yes there are TONS of shit posters I get that too, and you need to sift them out as yeah, they dont add any value.

Hard to see your first post as anything other then being a troll considering just the last few pages of comments. You want to be heard then at least read what the dev said. Don't have to take my word for it just do a search of JDs post here. You say you are giving constructive criticism, but the dev has already responded to such criticism long ago. Yours may not have had the barbs of most comments, but the dev just said on the very page of your comment they were "tired of saying the same thing over and over again". Then you say one of those same things they have repeatedly responded to and expect a positive response.
If you are earnest just know it is not you personally, but a number of I'll intended members on this site that is the real problem. We only see part of the picture most of the comments especially the rudest, and most hostel are not posted publicly.
Yes, Im truly sorry for not reading the thread, I just saw the update status and posted my disappointment. I guess I'm just surprised he'd make such a lengthy post if it was already addressed, he could have just ignored it, but I understand how sensitive of an issue it can be, I've been there. God speed to him and his game if he thinks it's going in the right direction.

On a somewhat related tangent... I was curious if you have ever polled your patrons to see how many of them came to be your supporter and came from a pirate site.
I think there are a couple things to remember. First, there is a massive silent following of your game. From the downloads you can see, how many are there? I can tell you that the overwhelming majority (maybe even 99%) of those downloads are fans of your game. Most of us hardly ever speak up. My first post on here was June 2021 (level 7) and I've posted less than a dozen times. I've enjoyed this game immensely. In fact, it was my very first AVN I ever played (found it on a porn game site) and opened my eyes to all these wonderful games/stories.
Second, there will always be bad actors. Heck, there is a YT (possible twitch streamer, but I only watch on YT) who purposefully goes into other peoples streams and sends mean voice donations. Sometimes, people just want to see the world burn. While I would suggest ignoring it and moving on, that might be harder to do than it is to say.
You and your teams presence here on this forum is certainly a boon to us and reflects well on you. It shows you care about this project and you want to help us, even if we aren't your paying customers. Hopefully, your interaction has led to some people going from Pirate to Patron. =)
In the end, you need to do what you need to do. If you need to leave this site, then do it. We will miss having you here, but we will survive.
Anyways, thanks for you and your teams hard work.

Great game. Really like the dynamics. I have to ask: What's the difference between the High Quality and Low Quality? I played the LQ and enjoyed it and I wanna try the HQ but I wanna know the dfferences beforehand. Like, is there sound? That would be the cherry on top imho

To your question:
Both versions are pretty much identical.
The only difference is the visual image and animation quality.
Unless you've got a 4k+ setup, there is really no need to download everything again.
If you want to compare it, you can download the HQ update patch, next time.
(yes, HQ patches work with the LQ build and the other way around, but only the new content has different image/animation quality)
