Yes, it's 9.68gb once extracted. " 9.68 GB (10,404,090,078 bytes) "

As for the lines through the text, F95zone hates me and randomly places those lines through my text.
Even once I've used the "Strike-Through" to remove it, it still appears.

Yes, you're correct, it is confusing, especially as a lot of games here on F95zone are released as Chapters "parts"

Yes, you download all 3 files and put them in just one folder.

Start extracting the first file - WinRAR, 7Zip, or whatever you're using will grab the other files when an end of an archive is reached.

You should have a SA folder with about 10GB of data after extraction.

Are the saves compatible across updates now? I believe that a new game had to be started for every update an year ago.
