hmmm I downloaded the low qual pc file from gdrive but ran out of space, cleared off 25GB of space and redownloaded. Unfortunately when my pc gets this tight on HD it tends to get slow - so unpacking it took an hour and a half. As soon as it was done I checked that files were there then deleted the compressed file. Then I tried to run it, only to find no executables. I doublechecked that it was the pc version and it was. So I tried the patch updater to see if it came with the executables to no luck. Does anyone know how I can get the top level directory files (I have the renpy, game and lib directories and they look to be fully populated as best as I can tell). Can I just grab one of the partial compressed files and get what I need? I really don't want to download a 10GB file for the third time.

Updates only have the game folder with scripts and new images/video files in them.
That won't help you.

It sounds like you're using an antivirus software like Avast, Norton, Avira, McAfee etc.
Those tend to false positive files and delete them.
You can check your quarantine folder if the files are still on your drive and recover them.

If not, only a new download will help.

Don't use antivirus software as mentioned above.
Those are viruses themselves and slow your system down.
(that's probably why unzippin' takes so long for you)

Windows Defender and an occasional check (not the live protection) with Malwarebytes are enough.

Noooooooooo! Looks as if I missed an update or something! I don't have ANY SuzieLevelUp4 image files, got 3's and 5's...
I'm going to have to download it all again!!! My ISP's going to hate me...

Well, I downloaded it all again and was stunned at how many files were missing, not just images. Now comes the fun part, working out what gameplay I missed. So glad there's a diary and a hints system to let you know what needs to be done!

The LQ version, which is usually enough for most systems/monitors, is about 10 gigs.

Some Feedback:
There is several mismatches in the file names in the script, exactly on Sunday Duo Date with Shannon on Level 10. Check the webp file names, some of them are referred to the Together date.

And another attention, I think it should be modified the end of all sleeping events. I mean, when MC sleeps with somebody and wake ups in the respected room (sometimes with morning event), there should not be the part that he had work at his blog and slept in his bedroom. You can not return in time and be at multiples locations.

Take a look in the SBedroom3.rpy file, lines 3088, 3127, 3210 (correct file name), 3241 and 3309 (correct file name).
I found it, because during event have not been triggered video. Looked if files existed, then if there are some mistakes in linking them.

Videos did not trigger? Oh boy... that's not good.

Thanks to JJSpace, we have identified an issue with animations during Shannon's level 10 Duo date option not playing.

The fix needs to be applied the same as a normal Update.
Unzip it in the main directory of Sweet Affection (where the SA.exe is located).

2 animation before the fix - 5 animations after fix is applied

If you don't want to download the files, then you can just wait for the next regular game update, in which the fix will be implemented as well.

HQ updates work on the LQ version.
Scripts are the same. It's just the image and video quality that's different.

The issue is, when you install an older patch w/o the following patches after, the game most certainly will break.
You can try to install the latest patch after the older one, but no guarantee.

Sorry sweet affection doesn't start anymore, I tried to delete the whole folder and extract all the zip but it doesn't start at all... Can I delete temporary or configuration files that are in folders other than the game's folder?
