I keep seeing people talking about the file size, but that shouldn't even be an issue. It's 2025, not 2010.

Now, the AMOUNT of files is insane. 108k? It took longer to unzip than it took to download.

I'm guessing the reason that the Dev isn't using the RPA packaged files is because it makes it easier to update this way, but holy shit. The Dev really should make the RPA version available.
RPA version will take ages to pack with too much RAM requirement if not done correctly. Not really worth it, specially in the day of SSD's.
This one will require 2 ssd's to depack fast. 1 ssd to depack at avg speed

No amount of speed makes the unzipping faster. The issue is not disk writing, but file writing. There's a minimum amount of time that it takes to write a single file. Because it's an issue of filesystem operations & random I/O, so it's limited by the disk's random I/O performance (IOPS) and CPU speed.

Simply put, it's the difference between it taking 30 second to 1 minute to unpack and it taking 15 to 30 minutes to unpack.

For a simple reasoning for people who want to know:

Scenario A (5 Large Files): The librarian receives a 5-volume encyclopedia set. They walk to the "E" section once, find a spot, place the 5 heavy books, and update the catalog 5 times. The main effort is carrying the heavy books.

Scenario B (108,000 Small Files): The librarian receives 108,000 individual pamphlets. For each pamphlet, they have to:

Find the correct section in the library.
Find an empty spot on the shelf.
Place the single pamphlet.
Walk back to the main desk and create a brand new catalog card.
File that card.
Repeat 107,999 more times.

You are not wrong but you took my comment way too negatively.

Also 30seconds vs 15mins is wrong analogy here as game doesn't take that much time to unpack unless running on a potato.
30 vs 5 is more like it.

Also random i/o is much faster with 2 disks involved than single disk.

Over playing a simple problem won't make it big neither the big size problem small.

I was also giving you information about RPA packing but that missed the whole point as to why Dev skipped it

It's okay I get your point.

EDIT: Extraction Speed Video Added for Clarification (Its not as big of a deal as its shown to be)

Game extracted in 1 minute 49 seconds

Hello, I want to ask how I can raise my mother's level. She is at level 1 and I can't raise her anymore.
You need to raise Sarah and Shannon's affection to 100 and play the mandatory events.
After that's done, you can raise the level at 6 p.m. during dinner.

There's a built-in walkthrough that tells you what to do:

I know about this and it says I should invite them to a spa center but I don't know how to invite them because the scenes are the same again and again.

So how do relationships actually work in this game? can you progress all characters at the same time? there's no harem tag so I felt like I needed to ask, I'd like to see all a game has to offer but if you're limited then I might pass

You need to advance the two women in the same house as the MC at the same time (both need to reach a 100 relationship score) then there is a level up event (check help icon top center of screen) that will advance their levels and reset their relationship points to 0 - repeat to advance the level of their relationships.

There is also a diary feature that I really enjoy. It shares the thoughts going on with each of the women as their relationship with the MC grows.

You can pick and choose the other women as you like (in the office with Sarah, I picked Jane but am not interested in Claire, for ex.). These women are advanced independently of the two women in the house (with the exception of one - Suzie - spoiler if I explain why but just follow the help suggestion if you are not sure about next step).

It is not a harem game per se. Think of the MC dating women in the same universe (represented by the town map you can access) - outside of the two (Sarah/Shannon & later Suzie) - the other women do not know about each other.

GL!

Cheers!! :coffee:

I've already had sex with a few girls but nothing happens with my mother and sister. They're stuck on level 1 and I can't go to level 2. Apparently the game is broken.

You need to play the mandatory events.
The walkthrough tells you to go on a date with both of them.

I ONLY KNOW THIS, I DON'T KNOW HOW TO MAKE THIS MEETING, THAT'S THE PROBLEM
On Saturday at 10 a.m. skip the Spa day with "Not today"
Still 10 a.m. go to Sarah's bedroom (the older one) and choose "Go out"
Still Saturday, skip to 5 p.m. and go to Sarah's bedroom again
The date will automatically start

On Sunday at 10 a.m. go to Shannon's bedroom and choose "Go out"
Still Sunday, skip to 5 p.m. and go to Shannon's bedroom again
The date will automatically start

After both dates have been played, the walkthrough changes to the dinner event in order to level up.

I can't make it any clearer, sorry. :(
