after 5 years in total, and how far the progress is, imo it should have stayed as is
sure a update sounds nice,but imo, age is showing, renders are clearly outdated and still staying with the same things etc


it could have bin a fun game, but if this gets continued, it would prob take another 30 years or so( atleast) before it is really finished

And now Mortze has, largely on his own, completed Ep2 of this, which is longer than Ep1.

If doing all that while working a full time, high stress job is "lazy" then you must have done a ton more in that time. Please teach us the secrets of your productivity.

If any mod is here reading this, please do look into why this release isnt showing up on latest releases. I do think latest releases gets the most exposure and this game would be missing out on that.

Lets look at the reality here shall we lads and ladies and those who identify as kitchen appliances.

We finally get a continuation of this story 6 YEARS later. Yet in that time the Devs have been working on other projects and putting out said projects, most of which are niche and are goodish but not all that great.

Let's say, hypothetically here, if we had gotten an update to the story in say year 2 of 6: Well, hype and interest would continue to grow, stirring more fans to support the story and game, etc. etc. Yet, we are 6 years removed for that. Most, like myself, have completely forgotten about this game entirely and are just now returning to it. That's a really bad optic for a game that, while somewhat niche, had a solid story and characters to boot... 6 years ago. Now? Maybe not so much.

So sure, Mortze and Thaero have put out some game since then, show casing they are "working". Thats all well and good. But at the same time, rather than strike while the iron was hot with this one, they let it go stone cold till about a year ago.

Way to conveniently ignore the list of several completed games in between the first episode and this latest update. You could say "delayed" or even argue "distracted by other projects", although I would disagree with that assessment as well. But there's no world in which saying someone constantly working throughout that time was "lazy" just because the work didn't happen to be on this story.

You do also realize that side stories like these aren't huge moneymakers typically, right? The universe in which this is set is owned wholly by LucasFilm, which is owned by Disney. Without express permission from them, others aren't allowed to profit off of their IP. The only thing they might have garnered would be followers / supporters. And if someone were supporting them only because they were making this story, guess how many would leave once they moved on to something else (after this story was fully told)?

fact 1: this was originally mortze's own project and tiaro was just helping.
fact 2: this was left in limbo after mortze got overwhelmed. came back some time ago.
fact 3: elsavere games are their main games, this and other scifi game were/are done between elsa updates.

I know there was one game that had the togruta looking models with the head tails and they ended up changing that model entirely I suspect to avoid issues with The House of Mouse
They are ruthless with anything copyright

Loved your games in the past, a lot of fond memories, definitely going to play this one, I remember enjoying it. It has been a while since I paid attention to your work last thing I remember playing is Elsavers Transitions. Was there anything between transitions and this second episode I missed? Mortze, I remember that you worked on Paradise, and it did not work out for you is there any chance you would continue that project? If no, can we get Rita into some new project? I remember absolutely adoring her personality and looks. I wish you both the best in private life and creatively. Your games introduced me to AVN, and I was very fortunate that your games were of such high quality. Thank you.
