I think Hebishima is actually the 'better' guy. Sure, he's a terrible person and treats girls badly, but at least he doesn't hide his intentions. Also, to my knowledge he didn't rape Suguha, unlike Inoda did with Asuna.
I mean, it's all factual and theoretical. But you have to consider that drugs are treated very differently in Asia, for good reasons. In Japan, cannabis is illegal, even for medical use. So if he sells some weed on the corner, for me, it's not as bad as rape, that's for sure.

I didn't say about the drugging Suguha because it was not clear if he gave her drugs or just got her drunk. Even if it was drug, Inoda still tried to use a aphrodisiac candle to seduce Asuna. It was fake but he did not know that.

Like, it would be 'realistic' if these were generic OCs, but it's not at all for Suguha's character, hell, Fujino actually had to twist the timeline into a big mess just to make her feel as 'NTR' as possible. Like, Kirito has nightmares about Oberon fucking Asuna, which means the Fairy Dance Arc happened, but somehow that's impossible because clearly Suguha never met him as Leafa in ALO here. The only reason for this plot hole is so that she can't have 'confessed' to him already, which would make Hebishima blackmailing her into his new fuck-buddy in the most cliche NTR way possible impossible if it had happened :3

No, it IS, or at least background-wise: Early in the game they mention that the village where Kirito's filler NPC friend from part 1 (Can't remember his actual name only the wrongly translated 'Charlie') came from and went back with his girlfriend (And the boss who is NTR-ing her) was actually badly hit by the typhoon of the end of Part 1. Aka, they're talking of the same village from Sakura Chapter and how the typhoon there hits and leaves half the village isolated for most of that game XP
