Yes but as Gaka200 said February is a short month. Releasing early will give him more time for bug fixes and next update. Also it is also a gift for his Chinese fans to play before the new year.

The Inoda in each update is either fat or thin. He's like Christian Bale for every new movie, for every new CG scene he changes his shape.Now I'm afraid that Fujino screwed everyone with the Asuna event in irl. And it will be home cooking for Inoda, so that he doesn't suddenly lose weight.

Yup! Also mentions 3 other Asuna events without mentioning CGs, and one other battle event. The battle event will be a separate set of CGs from the 5 battle CGs. Usually the battle event is the one where Kirito fights a boss and there's a much longer sex scene happening on the side. They could add more cgs. But it's probably safer to assume bug fixes.

I think it can all be summed up in one word - "polishing". This may include correcting errors, adding text where it is needed, and maybe a couple of pictures where they are needed.

He could still add CGs but it will be mostly bug fixes for that "serious bug" mentioned in the report.

Here it's more likely because Shion's event is short, probably another Web video. But CG is already like a long event.
The initial knee jerk reaction complaint is understandable because they're under the assumption it's the size of a normal update, but took 2 months to come out. But it's not a normal update, so it should be fine.
