That is happening to everyone and probably intentional. What is happening is the resources like the images for sex scenes are being loaded into memory when you need them. So if you go around viewing all the scenes in Recollection room the memory usage would be huge. The game doesn't release the memory after use so it only keeps growing. I remember in the beginning the game would load all the resources into memory on startup. So the game needs a long time to startup and would use at least 1GB+ memory from the beginning, but at least there was never any lag from loading scenes.
