I think we will need to wait for official bugfix for that (and I think the scene is just that small gif right before it crashes anyway so no sweat, but you can always go check game files and all the images too)

Or simply because Inoda is a complete asshole and it is impossible to love him, even at the subconscious level.
I hope all those stuff will happen, what I fear is that Dev might just fully corrupt Asuna to be sex slave to Inoda in both real life and in FOG and then the game just ends (but we have a main plot going on anyway so I think we will at least see Asuna completely fallen, enjoying Inoda's dick while Kirito progressing, solving the main plot of the whole game lol)

Fujino tries in every way to make people understand that Inoda is a bad guy but some people's minds are stuck in the first part and they see Inoda as a good guy and Kirito as the bad guy.

And I also got the idea that in the future Kirito and Inoda will figuratively switch places. When the NTR in the game ends, Inoda will tell Asuna to pretend in front of Kirito that they are still together. And then Asuna will have sex with Kirito only in the game. And with Inoda anywhere. This will be a sign that Inoda and Kirito have changed their places in Asuna's heart and that the game has turned into a snotty drama about the humiliation of Kirito's stalker.

I don't think anyone believes Inoda is a good guy. It is just people prefer watching and rooting for the person who is actively pursuing his goals instead of the passive guy who is just reacting to events.
That is pretty much confirmed since that is one of the datamined hidden perks.

In general I liked the update, we have already been able to see something in real life between Asuna and Inoda taking another step in their relationship and in FOG they already fuck without excuse. That's possible too, 14 days seem really long and would span up to several updates if it's progress normally each day with no skip, but at least I'm sure we will see some more hot scenes during this quarantine period (at least for the Sunday since Fujino mentioned it'd include minigames and etc.)
