At this point in time... It's... actually kinda funny how genuinely terrible Fujino's Asuna and Kirito are for each other. Asuna is a super repressed turbo slut who gave in to the first guy who showed even a modicum of desire, using the excuse that it was to "help him" even when it was the fat loser that is Inoda. It could have easily been Hebishima or ANY other dude. Fujino's Asuna is THAT much of an easy lay. Either that or she's just genuinely THAT stupid to have allowed the fat bastard to go so far, willingly jack him and suck him off and eventually even fuck her, "regret" it and then gives in again. Because "boohoo, he's never touched a woman". No one can be THAT stupid right?. She also doesn't even give a shit about Kirito anymore at this point in time, just pretends she does. It's all just the sex that matters to her by now, she just excuses it away that she's "falling for Inoda" when it's more that she's realizing she's NOT into Kirito (oh she's falling for him because he read a book? Cut the bullshit. No one sane would fall for Inoda just because he fucks good. She's gotta be mentally ill if it's genuine. A variation of Stockholm or some shit). It was just the trauma of SAO that brought Kirito and Asuna together in this verse I'm guessing. Not genuine feelings of love or anything of the sort. The fact that she didn't care about recreating Yui WITHOUT Kirito is just proof she never loved the guy in the first place.
On the other hand, Kirito is a problem too because he's too much of a passive idiot... with Asuna. It's funny how the guy functions as a genuinely normal guy with a normal libido when it's with ANY girl other than Asuna, with whom he's beyond boring and not at all willing to explore anything fun. He's also kinda just latched onto her because of SAO in my opinion. Especially given he shows more interest in other girls at times. He cares about Asuna likely but not in a genuinely passionate way that anyone actually in love would.
It's actually pretty interesting to see just where Fujino is taking this. I started getting interested in this game because it was funny to see Kirito getting cucked... and yet nowadays I find myself actually rooting for the guy. I was shocked he ever got ANY action, action that wasn't the classic NTR "lmao small dick loser" like usual. Sinon didn't think like that, says she enjoyed herself even if he could have been better. Suguha (clearly) doesn't think like that. Heck even Alice was apparently hoping for more. Only Asuna (and Liz but eh, I hardly care about Liz) is the one who's only medicine to stupidity is big dick. I actively find myself hoping Asuna and Inoda get screwed over in the end and that Kirito finds a better chick rather than end up in the usual NTR end of "happy cuck" or "oblivious cuck" which I NEVER expected to do since I'm usually rooting for the oblivious route but nowadays I find myself rooting for Kirito of all people. It likely will end up the usual NTR way but I actually hope not. Fujino at times seems to hint that he will do the classic "happy cuck" route and then at times goes on to hint that there's other potential endings for Kirito available, especially with all the bullshit the "Council" does in the shadows, like whatever Administrator is plotting since I remember her saying Kirito was a potential "chosen one" of hers or some shit. All that could potentially serving to help Kirito escape the cuck chair. I'm hoping for the latter surprisingly, despite not being the biggest Kirito fan if only because I think the story itself would be better that way in my opinion. Quite frankly Inoda and Asuna don't deserve a Good Ending. She's just too fucking dumb to have one while he's too stupidly lucky to the point it's annoying. The fucker is a bigger Gary Stu than Kirito is with how absurdly luck everything is for him. He targeted the easiest slut and had everything handed to him in a silver platter. Asuna on the other hand is just either insanely dumb or actively malicious. But dumb seems more likely. So yeah, fuck 'em both (and not in the fun way)
