I mean, it would probably be better, but i suppose it would take much more time to develop the game.

Would it actually be any better as a game? I haven't played many games with full on Koikatsu engine, but those I did play were pretty clunky and the "gameplay" itself was the worst thing about them.
I think that the rpgmaster style works perfectly for hentai games, and I would only change it for a more proper engine if Fujino was an actual programmer could handle such a task.

Here's an opinion.
Personally, I think Fujino should put an end to this part. The 2nd part has gotten way too large and personally, I think that since Fujino has now found a proper pacing and created proper arcs for the characters, a part 3 of the game would be useful.

Well, Fujino hinted at this anyway. I guess he wants to end the part with a big event, so we just need to wait. I think the end of Part 2 will be towards the end of the year.

When and where was this hinted at? It'd be unfortunate if he decided to end Part 2 at the end of the year when it seems there's still some stuff that'll be left out and undeveloped if he ends it that soon.

I don't remember exactly, maybe a few updates ago? He said the part is getting too big again.

The only hint is the 6/3 progress report where he said he was getting worried about the size of Part 2. There is still no plans to end Part 2 yet.

I don't think it's possible, koikatsu is a sex simulator, you can't move around, you have a room and various fixed places to make characters have sex, you can make "rooms" but that's it, there is another illusion game where you can move around but it's not "anime art style" it's more "realistic", and most important the game would be very big in GB, and could run only on PCs

what would it be like you can't move? and the character who moves around the school with WASD, what is it for you? here I talk about koikatsu as after school, or sunshine, the character moved freely, if instead you refer to koikatsu as chara studio, then yes, you can't move

Sorry I should've specified, I meant the modifiable part, for what I know you can't make an environment where you can move from scratch, only static places with fixed spot, if it's possible tell me that I always thought that it wasn't possible, and I'll download it again and have a try making something

in my opinion characters, environments, characters and all
explicit movements and scenes were created on chara studio, but to make the character move freely and various commands, I think they used another engine or something like that. Ok I'll stop here, otherwise they'll ban me for changing the topic

I am pretty confident that Fujino's trip has absolutely nothing to do with anything, as unless he was straight up lying to us for some reveal later on it makes no sense to assume otherwise.

That being said, Saikey's announcement is strange, unless they translated unfinished games before. Even if Fujino decided to finish part 2 in the very next update, it's still a month and a half away.

I can't say that it's impossible for the game to finish during the next update, since I can see the setup for a climax of this arc for Inoda and Asuna. With FOG being shut down for a few days, I could see the climax of part 2 being irl sex.

Would it be a good climax? No, I can’t see how it would be anything but a rush job, and this is not even taking into consideration all the subplots that still haven't gone anywhere of significance.

Reminder this may also not be what Fujino "wanted" at all, just that he once again underestimated how much he was extending the plot and the game is struggling again to keep itself together so he HAD to finish Part 2 yes or yes. Pointing out the most obvious thing, Part 2 is already bigger file-sizes-wise than Part one even :O
