Perhaps Fujino can't think of a more realistic way to make Asuna's transition to sex in real life. After all, Asuna still has clear boundaries of "game - real life". There's still a week and a half at the hotel ahead, I think something is going to happen that will radically change Asuna's views.

It's only the first day, but it'll speed up pretty fast since they threw out the plot line of preventing in-game sex from happening for a while. So that frustration will translate to IRL at some point.
