The part that im confused about is how would the ending where Kirito leaves to America and Asuna stays with Inoda even work? There are too many characters who know about her cheating, most importantly Suguha, why would she not just tell him about Asuna?
Well, unlike others, she genuinely cares about his well-being. So, unless she's certain that revealing the truth won’t completely devastate him, she’ll keep it to herself, waiting for the right moment to pick him up. But honestly, with Fujino rushing the story at full speed, I’m not sure we’ll get a satisfying conclusion to any of the side stories, which is unfortunate. :(

It still doesnt make much sense to me, there is the classic trope of catching someone cheating so that the 3rd party (suguha) can take advantage of it to comfort them in a time of mental weakness, this is the exact same as when Asuna seemingly caught Kirito in the brothel.

Well, isn’t it actually a good thing that Fujino doesn’t follow the same tropes we’ve all seen hundreds of times? Personally, I’d say yes. Suguhas’ unusual storyline is what kept me playing for the most part because it broke away from the usual NTR tropes. And even if things fall apart in the end, I still appreciate that Fujino took this approach. The same goes for the Sinon and Hebishima part—that was a huge surprise too.

I’ve been thinking, why did the administrator want to be ‘conceived’ in FOG? We know FOG can impact irl like this update where it makes asuna more pent up. What if being conceived in FOG and also by the same couple irl will somehow allow the administrator to be born into the real world? Is this the plan of that secret organisation? Just a theory.

Also I really do hope we get more than 4 updates, unless they’re super long updates that are twice as long as usual. It would be a shame to see the ending/climax rushed after so much build up and work.

Im only saying this cause an end where Kirito gives himself up completely to Suguha would be nice to see.

I mean, Administrator DID NOT want that, like, at all, that's just one of the random theories that people here brought up and many started taking it like it was 100% canon when we're not even sure about anything relating Administrator, just that she wants to and will "descend into the real world". Absolutely nothing outside people's here imagining it had something to do with the ritual has ever stated she wanted to be in FOG at all, she has always said she wants to come to the real world XD

The author is writing his story and we can only hope that it will end at least logically, no matter which ending he chooses. He probably had a complete script, which eventually changed and shrank, so some things look a little ridiculous. Everyone was amazed that Kirito asked to humiliate himself in this update. This event did not follow at all from the entire previous game. Was it possible to logically fit it in? Yes! We have Kirito's dreams. If, for example, the author had made 10 dreams for this stage, where Kirito sees Asuna with other men. After the first 3, Kirito would wake up again as if from a nightmare. And starting from the fourth dream, the players would be given a choice whether they liked the dream or not. And if you had chosen that you liked the dream, then Kirito could have woken up with a boner. And after 9 and 10 dreams, he could even cum in bed from excitement. And then now his similar statement would look logical... But it's possible to imagine such a plot move now, and it would never have occurred to me before. Therefore, we just wait and believe in the author)
perhaps this is exactly what he intended, but due to the reduction in development time, he abandoned this branch of character development (

I mean, for me, it's the only somewhat logical theory right now if we piece together the little information we have. We know:

  • She can't just enter the real world by herself.
  • The ritual was created by the council specifically for her.
  • She disappeared from the dream world the moment Yui was transferred into FOG/Asuna.

But in the end, this could all still turn out to be wrong.

this update in terms of plot has undermined the faith in a good/interesting/unexpected ending too much. for me personally it was surprising how easily Asuna gave up (as funny as it may sound), also Kirito suddenly became a masochist for no reason, the new choice at the beginning of the game about the attitude towards girls also looks strange, as if Fujino originally came up with the ending (as it actually is) after he came up with interesting twists, but still decided to return to the original idea

I don't think the author thought so:{perhaps this is exactly what he intended}. since kirito is literally the main character and if he decided to do everything according to the original plan, it was necessary to somehow explain it, and the way you suggested it sounds quite appropriate and interesting, but here we literally got: asuna tell me that I have a small penis you are not satisfied, etc.and after that i will cum 10 times harder. just for no reason.and I won't say for sure, but Kirito himself wanted sex with Asuna to be more varied (he really wanted a blowjob in the first part), but he was always afraid to offer it and here he refuses anal sex, which looks strange

does anyone have a save from the beginning of 7/12? I don't really want to replay the whole update for that day's event

well, I'm saying that the author, for example, thought of somehow writing Kirito's dreams about Asuna into the plot, but due to the fact that he was required to quickly develop the relationship between Asuna and Inoda before sex in the IRL, he simply gave up on these dreams. But at the beginning of the game they appeared regularly... It was almost certainly done for a reason.

Reminder, the quest ritual WAS NOT created 'specifically for her', it was created as HOMAGE to her, if I had to guess it's probably something they did based off whatever lore she put into their heads about her origins, but it would make no sense that she NEEDED it, because countless other people have done that ritual aside from Kirito's group from what we saw XD If Administrator NEEDED Kirito to do it, then it would have failed because Kirito hilariously wasn't involved in shit at all, if she had actually needed Inoda she would have appeared in his dreams and told him to hurry his fat ass to do so ages ago because he's a massive pushover and apparently has even begged her sometimes, there is just no way she would have waited around for it to go so slow, it wouldn't make sense with how much she was hyping up her descend into the real world XP

I was also surprised by the new choices, and it made me wonder what their purpose even is. If you decline even one of the girls you don’t care about, you won’t have enough points to unlock scenes with other characters, which doesn’t make much sense. This could all be easily solved by simply asking about Kirito’s attitude toward Asuna—whether she is his one true love or just his current girlfriend.

Again?

I mean, maybe you’re right, or maybe she didn’t want to say it directly since she always speaks in riddles, or it was just poorly translated. We’ll see soon. :sneaky:

Btw when was the last time we even saw the administrator? It feels like it’s been a very long time. I hope she makes an appearance soon, I mean her design is hot lol

She's in every dream world chilling inside one of the room except for this update where she disappears right around the conception of Yui.
