Fujino made Kirito so blind and deaf that Asuna doesn't even have to work hard to hide her betrayal( considering that most of the concealment work is done by Inoda). Perhaps it would be worthwhile to add some uncertainty and worries to Asuna's life. So that she would be torn by lust and fear of exposure. The problem with the idea of Suguha blackmailing Asuna it's suguha own actions/past, if someone find out about that is game over, her character is way too fucked up so for that to work in the story she need a way to expose Asuna without exposing herself, and remember is not only Asuna that she will blackmail inoda wil be involved too.

Fujino already told us that Inoda/council/sugou will interact in the future, we don't know why but what we do know they know who Flora/Laefa really is and what she's being doing and did behind the scenes, he get this information and blackmail her about expose her to Kirito, with that all her leverage/credibility goes to shit.
Maybe suguha don't get the chance to do anything because she is togheter with sinon and she is fighiting with others members of the council so they give suguha past to Inoda to make her backoff or as payback.
