I like Suguha and she's one of my SAO waifu. Suguha has a cool personality, I like her character, and she's an Olympic kendo champion. Suguha supports her brother, and he supports her as a sibling. Suguha and Asuna have a close friendship and could be sister-in-law and sister-in-law in the future. Suguha is rarely mentioned in the LN, but she appears more in scenes in the Unital Ring arc, the same goes for Agil, Klein, Silica, Sinon, and Lisbeth, who have more time in scenes in the Unital Ring arc. Have you watched the entire anime? I recommend you read the LN.

Her new direction was probably the biggest breath of fresh air the side-plots on this game got, they stopped being just filled nobody was interested in and just saw for the Hentai (If that) and became something interesting that you never see happening in an NTR game at all which made it way more interesting and worth paying attention to than even the main story...I have read "Asuna gets NTR-ed by villain/random guy/old man/ugly fatso" a billion times, but "Suguha actually tries to steal her Onii-chan for herself without caring about Asuna" can probably be counted in one hand when it comes to SAO Hentai content...and most of the fingers counted in that hand would be AI content that came out in the past couple years despite the series being over a decade old
