I think he'll choose her because it's much easier to make a game based on her universe because of the small number of female characters. Naruto has a gigantic number of female characters and people will ask for many of them to be added to the game, which will make development much more difficult.
And I think it's worthwhile for the author to practice making games on something simple before moving on to Naruto and DxD, where you have to develop more than one character thoroughly.
Also, My Dress-Up Darling is quite popular and the second season will be released soon, which will attract even more attention. You'd be foolish not to take advantage of that.

I don't think that is anything to worry about.. Hinata is the best. I wanna see someone actually make a nice game with a nice storyline because most of the stuff that is out is not so good.. please send me the link to vote..

Personally speaking, I don't want to ruin so many happy memories associated with the show. I fkin do not want to see Naruto Fking Tsunade, or Jiraiya fking Hinata or such, or Naruto being a cuck (when he's a total badass in the show, doesn't bode well at all).

Sad to hear that Naruto is pretty much out of the race. As someone who grew up with it and was on the NaruHina ship day 1, I would've love to see it get the Fujino treatment. There's been a couple attempts, almost exclusively from the BLACKED community, but none of them get it right in my opinion.

Fujino says My Dress Up Darling won, at least when he last checked before Rent A Girlfriend shot up. But the truth is that he will make a game based on which of the titles he legitimately finds interesting and then will gauge interest with votes to tip the balance. I doubt he wants to touch even half the titles he made a poll for.

We can tell he wasn't a super mega fan of the franchise if we go by the lackluster representation of canon, but for all we know he may have wanted to see Kirito cucked from 2010.


What we do know regarding the new poll is two things, Fujino stated explicitly that placing first in the poll doesn't mean it it's guaranteed that the winner will become the next game.

And, he also said that he would take a second poll at a later date to narrow things with what he learns from the poll.

For example, if Dress Up Darling, Rent a Slut, Naruto, DxD, and Fate end up being the top five of the voting, we will end up having a poll just with them, which is much more likely to represent the next game.

If only I had a Russian bot farm to make sure Fujino's next title is Suguha's Incestual Adventures.

I read the comments and was a little surprised, for some people a hentai game, manga, doujinshi or some hentai pictures can really spoil the perception of the original series, I probably read all the available hentai on Naruto in my native language and in English, but this did not cause any problems when watching Naruto or other series, where I saw a lot of hentai works.
The question is, for example, did this work on Fujino ruin the perception of KiriSuna, SAO, and so on?

While I do think that Fujino's game may have permanently altered my perception of Suguha, in a much more favorable way, I don't think that people who dislike Asuna (or those joke about her) were particularly born from this game.

In the first place, there is always a faction of people who dislike the main girl of any romance/harem series due to their favorite losing. It's not just something unique to Asuna or this game.

Shipping is a zero sum game, anything positive for one ship means that everyone else loses.

I haven't watched Dress Up Darling . But what I didn't like when I first got to know it (I briefly read the plot) is that the main heroine initially looks like a slut. This can narrow the potential for NTR and corruption. And that's not even talking about the plot itself. In SAO, there is a main character with a fairly long line of interaction with other female characters, he saved Asuna and protected her many times and this fits well into the NTR genre, creating a good basis for playing out different situations. I don't know how it is in Dress Up Darling, but I doubt that the plot will not be inferior to SAO in this regard.

Naruto is also not the best choice. Naruto is not a harem anime like SAO and Naruto himself ignored Hinata for the entire plot and only at the end - boom!, and they got together. Not the best potential for NTR, not to mention the fact that there is already a lot of content for this title.

It's a pity that Fujino decided (for now?) not to return to his old projects that he did, as far as I know by his own choice.

I understand and see that in Fujino's games, characters have enlarged tits and butts for sexier proportions. But look at this, Marin's boobs literally reach up to her navel. In the original, Marin has boobs too, but they're neat and medium-sized, and Fujino has something ridiculous in place of boobs. And the picture makes Marin look like some kind of bimbo.

The boobs looking weird and fake. I don't like it, need to be fix. I think fujino need to keep her natural size boobs as anime then make her big boobs when she cosplay if the supporters like that.

I would say Sugu has made sure to 'fix' the first 2 negatives about Kirito there, and the last one she somehow doesn't care about despite Fujino cursing him with it XD

SAO is quite the unique exception here because despite what the average person or hater thinks, the whole 'harem' thing is not only innacurate but also firmly ignored/rejected by the majority of the main fandom, so 'shipping' in SAO is both much nicer and also a much bigger nightmare than in any other fandom (I can attest to that as I was active part of the fandom for like 10 years XP). It's either "You like KiriSuna" or "You shut up about liking Kirito with any of the other girls or everyone else will shit on you and tell you in a billion ways why you're wrong and why your taste is horrible" 99% of the time, which is another of the reasons I ended up liking most of the other girls, even some non-canon ones, with him more than Asuna

Is extra-sad when you actually look at the source matrerial and realize there was never actually a CHANCE for any of the other girls...SAO was originally written as a self-concluding one-shot fantasy romance story, the equivalent of Ep1 of the anime and then straight to the last couple of episodes of the Aincrad Arc (Minus even the Yui events, really XP). The other girls were literally BORN having lost to Asuna already, because the author didn't even create them until afterwards when he decided to expand the story and add more characters, but Kirito and Asuna having fallen in love, hooked up, and married was already written down before even Sachi, Liz or Silica were thought of existing, let alone Suguha, Sinon, or Alice XD
