Well I think the update won't come today but since Fujino said he will try to get the update out the 1st week of September, I believe him. You can still keep checking every minute. The Progress Report should be coming out soon. Hopefully we can the exact date of the update.

Last week I only managed to catch up on the text and events, and I went back and forth revising some of the story a few times. The CG still has some time-consuming parts left, but things should come together this week. If all goes smoothly, I should be able to finish around next Monday.

Dry demon hunter p1 and p2 if you haven't played yet it's not by fujino but still some how similar scripts, the game mechanics and all ofcourse SAO is unbeatable but Demon hunter is next to SAO
I agree that criteria is too mainstream/boring. But someone like Inoda is too far down that I don't believe for one second Asuna would actually fall for him.

Eh, the delay of a whole week will not be good for the next update, because there will be less time for it and most likely the author will either not have time again or will decide to release the update in two months.
