A short part of the story has you play as Klein; I think you get the option of 'go straight to Alice' or 'wait and do some chores'. If you wait, the other guy fucks her first. But I think it all ends up in the same 'Klein enjoys cuck' plot.

Quite a long time ago, Kawahara Reki gave an interview in which he said that he had plans after the first Aincrad arch to push Asuna into the background. She flew out of Japan after the traumatic events inside the game. He wanted to make Suguha his main romantic interest. During the ALFheim arc, Kirito and Suguha learned that they were not related and there were no obstacles to a relationship. And Suguha helped Kirito cope with his breakup with Asuna. But then the SAO fan base (which apparently consisted of radical fans of Asuna) got upset and Kawahara Reki decided not to remove Asuna and slightly changed the plot. After that, there was an Easter egg: Suguha is the only one whom Yui accepts on an equal footing with Asuna.

Perhaps Fujino is a fan of the old ways and is taking revenge for those events.

Well that's explain a lot why i always find Asuna a boring/bland by the numbers type of character, if the author wanted to put her in the bench back in the day he maybe thought he could do something better. But otakus and their wayfus.
SAO is just a OK series i never understood why all this hype around it, the characters are weak, the plot would work a lot better as a adventure/action around Kirito, but became this boring teen romance that never gets anywhere, and for some reason it's the most important thing for everyone in the story.

I see you don't read LN, there is a detailed description of the development of the plot, characters, the development of the relationship between Asuna and Kirito. SAO is about blurring the boundaries of reality to a VR game, it tells about the life of the characters. Asuna is not boring, bland, she is just well written, the same as the rest of the characters. Asuna comes from a wealthy Yuuki family, she has strict parents who control her life. Asuna is obedient especially to her mother, for example if she hadn't talked to Yuuki Konno she would have given up and not fought to stay in school and have Kirito's boyfriend, she would have gone to another school and had another boyfriend. Thanks to Kirito, Asuna changed her life, it was in the Mother's Rosario arc that she defended her mother about the SAO school and Kirito, which her mother finally reconciled and accepted her boyfriend. Asuna is Kirito's life, Kirito is also important to Asuna, they love each other, support each other, etc. If Kirito was killed, Asuna would commit suicide, Kirito would do the same. Arc Mother's Rosiaro very well written plot, e.g. thanks to the Medicuid technology (I forgot the name) it supported the life of Yuuki Konno, who was sick with AIDS, the virus. All characters are well written. The romantic plot is in the background, Kirito and Asuna show a mature relationship.
I know because I read the LN, I try to understand what the plot conveys and what the characters say in the anime and the LN.

It occurred to me that if Fujino is planning the ending of "Happy Cuckold", then so far there are a number of mutually exclusive paramaters. Kirito sees the example of Klein and the Priest in front of him. Alice and the Priest's wife fuck with several men, Fujino also said that apart from Inoda, Asuna will not fuck with anyone. It's problematic for such an ending. Inoda also hates Kirito and wants Asuna to be his pig wife both in the game and in real life, but if Kirito is a cuckold, according to the rules Asuna must be Kirito's wife and Kirito must voluntarily share with Inoda. This is impossible for Inoda, he wants to get rid of Kirito. So what if Fujino is planning to do the ending of "Happy Cuckold" (is he planning to?)then you need to do several actions.
1. Kirito must fully return Asuna's love.
2. Kirito must expose Inoda in front of Asuna
3. Kirito must get rid of Inoda
4. Kirito must inspire Asuna with the idea of other men.

It's clear that the story suffered some changes from the initial premise which was set out. This change coincides with his work related trip where he took a break from developing the game and focused on fleshing out the story and potential endings. Here a discussion can be had if the change was planned all along, but Fujino lacked the inspiration, or it is a new idea that came to him.

Up to the previous update release, the game story was following the classic trajectory for a NTR game, and we could make educated guesses on what the potential endings and story flow might be. Asuna, Kyoko and Liz being conquered by Inoda, Kirito becoming a loser and running to America, Sinon and Suguha becoming Hebishima playthings and Alice becoming a toy for Fukushi with Klein on the sidelines. And I think Fujino also knew that following this trajectory will not require much creativity and in the end just put his game on the same tier list as other in the genre.

With the changes done to the story and character relations, I am suspecting that Fujino is trying to subvert our expectations. Proof is the sudden friendship relation between Sinon and Asuna and the one-week time skip done after Asuna and Kirito relation got more leeway from Kyoko. Hebishima removal from the story together with Sugu and Sinon relocation to other roles in the story. All this indicate that Fujino is trying to route the story in a new direction, while at the same time trying to conceal the outcome/endings in a complex web of conflicting goals and motivations.

My theories for the possible game endings, if the development of the game keeps the same momentum and Fujino retains his motivations for working on this game, are as follows.

1. NTR ending - Kirito only finds out about Asuna cheating with Inoda at the end of the game. Kirito breaks down and decides to cut all ties with Asuna and follows his dream of studying in America alone. In this ending, Kirito does not find out about Kyoko relation with Inoda or about any other actions that Inoda may have had with other characters.

2. New relationship ending - this ending follows the same premise as the NTR ending. What is changed is that Kirito upon finding about the Asuna Inoda relation, he decides to leave Asuna and get in a new exclusive relationship with someone else from the female cast. Liz or Sugu are the only candidates for now. Remains to be seen what are Sinon feelings towards Kirito.

3. Polygamous relations / "Happy Cuckold" ending - Kirito finds about Asuna cheating and decides to accept it with the condition that he too will get another partner besides Asuna. Kirito will have to choose one between Liz, Sugu and Sinon. For this ending to work, Kyoko relationship with Inoda has to stay hidden from Kirito and also Kyoko does not have to know that Kirito is having another partner. Here I am thinking that depending on the person chosen by Kirito and Kirito stance on being a cuck the girl that gets in the polygamous relations can still have sex with other people behind Kirito back or be open about it. One example is that Kirito gets Liz as his other partner, but Liz is also fucking Inoda behind Kirito back. We know that Fujino is also playing with this idea and also Kirito had a dream where Liz is servicing Inoda. While this might not fall exactly in "Happy Cuckold" ending, I believe this is the closest we can get to it with the limitations that Fujino put in place for Asuna.

4. Kirito cheating ending - Kirito finds about everything, not just Asuna and Inoda relation. Here I am taliking about Kyoko relation with Inoda, Liz relation with Inoda, Sinon and Suguha past relation with Hebishima and their subsequent actions. Upon Kirito learning about all that is happening or took place, he decides to still keep a formal relation with Asuna and make her think that he is in the dark, while Kirito is having sex and exploring all his options will all the girls Liz, Sinon, Sugu, Alice. In this ending, Kirito basically becomes a man whore, and he tries to have as much fun as possible.

These are the endings that I could see happening. Then again, these are just speculation and Fujino might decide he will just end the story with a cliché ending and that will be that. I myself hope to get more endings, and the endings that I am most invested in are 3 and 4. Endings 3 and 4 offer the most creative freedom and most satisfying end to the game in my opinion.

3.You forget that Kirito is not very capable as a lover. Because of his weakness, no one needs him except Suguha. So polygamy is almost impossible. And you saw for yourself what I wrote. "The Happy Cuckold" does not fit into the current plot. Inoda hates Kirito, Kirito is not particularly supportive of Inoda. What kind of happiness is there?? No, no, no. Such an ending is possible if Kirito completely destroys Inoda, and introduces Asuna to the world of other men. Remember Kirito's 3rd dream! Everything is as it should be, but no one will hold Kirito, and he himself will hold Asuna's hand.

Yes. That's why being jealous is the motive for Inoda. As for Asuna ... well the perk description says Asuna will be convinced by her mother and Liz to give Inoda's baby so that she can get rid of Inoda and her life with Kirito can go back to normal. So of course there must be a lot of things to happen to make this happen. And I think these lots of things should be related to the fall of Asuna's mother and Liz to Inoda's dick. They will have very important impact on Asuna's cheating sex with Inoda IRL.

I have checked the plugins file and most of these hidden perk descriptions are not changed compared to my previous post summary, including the pregnancy ones.

At some point, the halucinations won't be imaginary; he'll catch Asuna and Inoda fucking and write it off as a halucination. Another good NTR game used this trope (The Edge Of) and it gets very mean and psychological to the MC. Eventually she's fully gaslighting the MC while cheating in front of him. Seems that may be the direction NTR:O is heading.

I've already written about it. Although, of course, Kirito is unlikely to go crazy. Otherwise, for the rest of the game, we will sit in a room with soft walls and see the inscription "Asuna's status has been updated." Hallucinations are a likely way to get Kirito used to the fact that Asuna is being fucked by someone Else, or that Asuna is being fucked by others in general. Then there will be a scene where Kirito catches Inoda and Asuna on the hot situation and does not pay attention, thinking that this is another Hallucination. The question is, how will Asuna and Inoda take it if they don't know that Kirito is hallucinating?? Apart from Kirito and Sinon, so far no one knows what Kirito's problem is.

It's going to be funny if Asuna were to rush after Kirito in an attempt to explain everything, she would essentially discover herself. Even a fool like Kirito should understand that he saw the real Asuna.. especially if this Asuna is running after him and saying something.

Your assessment of my endings theories is in tune with the current story progressions and character relations. In my ending proposals, I was also trying to account for possible developments of the story.

For ending 1, I will say that is very likely to get a version of it in any form that peaks Fujino interest.

As for endings 2 and 3, you are right. Kirito will not have the same relationship dynamic as it was with Asuna in any of the relationships that he might develop or have with the other female characters. Each female character has its peculiarities, and wants or considers having a relationship with Kirito for different reasons. Also, I am expecting that any girl that gets with Kirito will search for other partners to compensate Kirito lack of sexual performance. Even Suguha might want to have some good sex once in a while, even if she manages to get Kirito for herself. On the polygamy ending, this is suited more for Liz or Sinon, and will only work based on a new dynamic where Kirito will serve as the weak link, but I think it will still be entertaining to see how will Kirito rationalize the events happening to gaslight himself or encourage the girls to cuck him.

The ending 4 is more what if scenario and indeed has a low probability of happening. However, I remember the scenes that Liz had with Kirito where she was not immediate put off by Kirito. Now I know that Liz had those scenes in FOG and Kirito might have used some visual buffs on him and Liz did not yet have the chance to play with Kirito in real world, or at leat we the players did not see yet the recordings from the bear and Suguha did not have an aggressive reaction towards Liz when meeting her in the hospital. So it might be that Liz was put off by Kirito in real world, or she did not do anything yet. In the last update we got a scene with Sinon and Suguha doing a handjob to Kirito and from what I could tell Sinon was not put off by the size of Kirito dick, yes she remarked that it was smaller than what she was used to. These being said what I am interested with this ending is more on Kirito finding about Inoda adventures and the past events that he was oblivious to and how he will react to them.

Tbh, even if you only want to follow the Asuna plot, you still have to keep up with all the side content, because in the last two updates, basically every character has a role in what the dev named the main plot "the Admin/Council" story. It’s all connected now.

There is no sex involved so it is not in the Recollection room. But it is the first thing you see when load up the save that came with the update. You don't see her see it but it is implied this was the scene.

Except for Liz and Kyouko. They will only stay Inoda's tool and sex slave. That is what they are and what they will ever be.
