Suguha is safe from Inoda, nothing new there. The thing is exactly that safe only from Inoda.
Choices now will have a impact in the story line, so everything is open now.
One thing though, Inoda is not the only rival/enemy of Kirito in the story now, Sugou is now part of the plot and according with Fujino Inoda will have contact with him and the council, which can be bad news for Sinon and Sugu as well.

Honestly i can't shake the felling that Sinon/Sugu will not end with Kirito or they also going to be NTRed by someone in the end.

I just want her to stay away from Inoda, I don't care about the rest, it's just a quick fuck

I’m slightly concerned at the idea of transitioning to updates every 2 months but the contents of said update are going to be lesser? From my understanding this mid may we’re getting an update that just add scenes to the last big scene. Then towards end of June we’re getting the next update which will only contain one new major event.

I am fairly certain that is not want Fujino meant. He didn't say all updates will be 2 months long now. He is making taking his time with his update because it will finish the current arc and transition into the final arc so he wants extra time to do it.

I am guessing he got too much negative feedback on the current update so he is going back to add new stuff to existing update so it is not taking even more time. So a compromise was made and he will give us an small update with the new content to existing update in mid-May and then give us the real update end of June. It is a bad habit to go back to change what you already made but apparently the feedback was very story this time.

Suguha doesn't even appear in the story anymore, now at the end, it's been a while since I've seen Suguha, and since she no longer has sexual content, for a porn game she kind of became irrelevant.

Kyouko has been gone even longer but Inoda still needs she to finish Asuna's training.

That seem to be case until now, she didn't interact with anyone else true, but in reality she also didn't intereact with Kirito either for a while now.
the thing is this story is a backward harem, all the 5 main heroines want to be with MC at some point, but since this is a NTR plot they will endup with someone else.

Too early to tell, that will depend how Fujino will implement the players choices and their outcomes, because they will have some impact now.
