Honestly outside of the game I didn't feel like the brainwashing in game impacted anything last updateI actually didn't even finish this last update. The mind wipe thing threw me off and I am hoping maybe she snaps out of it. I might just wait until he is close to being done to pick it up. I loved the slow burn and suddenly it feels a bit rushed.

I would have to disagree there. Hate makes it seem like people have strong feelings for Kirito. But I doubt that is the case. He is so generic and forgettable. At least for me, I like the game because I simply think Asuna is hot and don't care about Kirito so I like it when she is with someone else and I don't care what happens to Kirito. Besides maybe Kazuya from My Rental Girlfriend I don't think I hate any character enough to want to see them get NTR'ed.I've said it before and I'll say it again: people only write stories like this because they hate Kirito. It's not even a game about Asuna's corruption anymore, it's purely "how can I ruin Kirito as much as possible, this fictional character who makes me so angry". It's just sadism, and you can only enjoy it if you hate Kirito as much as the author. I do not hate Kirito, which is why I gave up on this story a while ago
I can share the same sentiments about not hating kirito. I find the original SAO to be good and Kirito to be a cool character. Theres just something about Asuna though. Not many people can make that one specific character thats just a 10 and keep her that way. I feel the same about suguha. I will say though that the developers of most of the games and the author make it so i get irritated with kirito and the whole harem thing. I get especially irritated when the best friend character like Klein get shafted.I would have to disagree there. Hate makes it seem like people have strong feelings for Kirito. Also Fujino is not one of those people who hates Kirito. He simply picked SAO because it is popular and it is the series his supporters voted the most on. You can tell he only has rudimentary understanding of the series. If someone really hated Kirito they would have thought of more personal ways to hurt Kirito other than making him stupid and blind.
Well, we can't really know how Fujino really feels about Kirito (unless you're Fujino himself... huh? King, admit it! ).I would have to disagree there. Yeah, Fujino doesn't clearly hate Kirito, he just treats him as a generic NTR-ed MC with his very basic knowledge of SAO, hell, he arguably has treated him infinitely better than any of his previous 'MCs' in that regard honestly XPI would have to disagree there. As someone who actually was a big time SAO fan for ages, reading the novels even before the anime aired, and also thinks Kirito is great, I actually disagree about Asuna and, unironically, think the Gameverse AU was much better written than Canon thanks to how it treated the not-Harem aspect a lot more straight than how Canon actually ignores it (Despite the haters thinking otherwise). The writing of all the girls and of Kirito actualy improved a ton, both with each other and as a group, thanks to actually having him bond with them constantly and grow together as a not-family rather than how Canon threows them away into the background and refocuses on Asuna every time after their main roles are over until the plot needs them to do something XPI can share the same sentiments about not hating kirito. I think it's the memory rewriting. It's one thing to take Kirito's future with Asuna away, but to take his past away as well, it seems especially cruel to me. It feels like an attack on the canon itself, more than anything else in this game. I don't know if this sort of thing is the norm for NTR games since I don't really play them (playing this was how I learned I don't like NTR). But why even include a storyline like this unless you really hated the guy?I don't understand why some people think the author hates Kirito more than he should for the NTR genre.
And all the teasing about a small penis or poor stamina is a standard NTR tool to show that the protagonist is morally down and willing to admit that her boyfriend is very bad in bed.
For games where the girl is taken away by some jealous, bitter arsehole, the comparison is normal. The asshole wants to show the protagonist that even though she loves and dates the protagonist, her body really recognises only the asshole as a sexual partner, and the ideal protagonist can't give the whore what she wants.
If Inoda had cum in Kirito's coffee or ordered Asuna to make out with Kirito after she rimmed, then yes, you could say that the main character's humiliation in the game is above the norm or something. But Inoda just enjoys corrupting Asuna and morally destroying her.
And you have to realise that the story is seen through the point of view of Inoda, who is ugly and insignificant compared to the perfect Kirito. Inoda wants to prolong this victory over Kirito.
So I can't relate Fujino's dislike of Kirito to this at all and what it even is.
