fujino is one of the only ntr dev that doesnt neglect the male pov. most people mess it up or are just being lazy about it
They've definitely had practice tbf! Their games before SAO were pretty rough, but they evidently learned quite a bit from 'em to make something like this!

In my casing it's more the situations themselves, as they normally turn out pretty hot in my eyes. In that stuff like being stealthy, corrupted in plain view but just out sight, implications of what's going on, all while they get corrupted along the way is where my enjoyment comes from.

Exactly, the situational irony of seeing things unfold just out of sight is what makes it so hot for me too. That's a big reason why I love games like this one, Nebel Geisterjäger, and Scars of Summer—the thrill of almost witnessing the events firsthand, but not quite, keeps the tension dialed up.

At the same time, the emotional weight of the female character's choices, her slow corruption, and that hesitant reluctance really amps it up for me. I know this horse has been beaten to death, but that's exactly why I didn't enjoy the mind wipe mechanic in the last update. It felt like we lost so much of the emotional depth in Asuna's decisions, since she ends up thinking that's just how things have always been with Inoda. It was almost like being edged—we got to see her teetering on the brink again, building up like in part 1 (though I actually enjoyed the buildup more in part 2), only for the most crucial final choice to get stripped away entirely.

All in all, I totally agree on the stealthy corruption being the highlight. Moments like the shadows cast on the tent from the lantern (both in 2D and that close-up with Lisbeth and Kirito outside and seeing Inoda and Asuna go at it), the shadowy massages between Kirito and Lisbeth, and barely glimpsing Inoda and Asuna doing it on the facetime while Kirito's trying to call her in the hotel? Those are extremely hot!

Scars of Summer was my first intro to these types of games then I was happy when I found Nebel. This one ruined me...I watched all of SAO to feel more emotion attachment and even started writing a Novel based on this game (With the help of AI) that is a very slow burn!

Yea exactly, you get it! I like it when it shows silhouettes of things happening, or where they're doing things just out of view, or the moments when Inoda's doing something while invisible in plain view but only Asuna, and maybe Liz, know what's going on.

I got into this kind of thing quite a few years ago but it wasn't really around that much. But then Scars of Summer and other more esoteric stuff like Boy Hero Ken started coming out which were great! I do like that there's more of the genre coming out but I wish they did it right, so many of them just go down the Mind Control/Increased Sexual Feelings/Increased Physical Sensations route rather then the slow burn implications that are actually what make it hot and enjoyable. They just get right to the fucking which is just, boring.

Granted I've started trying my hand at making my own NTR games recently and I'll be doing something similar for the first few because my goal is to just make something short and to the point so that I can learn what I'm doing. But I want to make something like this game and the others with a slow burn build up full of implications, hidden scenes and all kinds of other stuff!

Dang I haven't seen Boy Hero Ken...I might have to check it out. I see next post says it is abandoned but is it a decent length?

Yeah the slow burn stuff really gets me. I hope you can figure out how to make some games! I debated doing the same thing (I experimented around in Koikatsu Sunshine to practice making scenes (similar to this game) and as mentioned practiced writing a story.), but it seems pretty difficult! I hope it works out for you, I would love to have a developer with the same Kink haha!

If you haven't checked out Nebel, I would suggest giving it a go. It is a little grindy but right up that alley.

Boy Hero Ken is abandoned unfortunately, however it's actually technically completed. It was supposed to have 2 routes that you basically can experience. The first is actually done, where it's just full of the implications and hidden scenes and the like, with some reveals towards the end. At one point the antag doing the NTRing gets stuck with the female love interests for a few days and that 2nd route was supposed to go into what was going on in those days but the game got abandoned before work started on them. So in total the game is actually a really decent length itself despite being abandoned, though the art style isn't too great but it's still fine overall lol

Yea I actually have checked out and played Nebel and a lot of others, kinda why I have a huge list of ideas I can do in games once I reach that point but for now my goal is just learning in general. I'm using RPG Maker MZ purely cause like, originally I grew bored with RPG Maker NTR games because they were all basically the same thing with different characters, but this game SAO made by Fujino showed me that you can actually make something really good and unique with RPG Maker once you learn it, so this has been one of my main inspirations for it.

I'm not good at making scenes in Koikatsu, so I've just been using scene cards made by others (I actually found some of the creators and scenes that Fujino used for this game which was interesting, like Hongcha). However learning RPG Maker MZ has been fun.

Kinda weird that like, ironically making stuff in RPG Maker MZ makes me excited to see what other games Fujino puts out after this one is done ngl!

That all depends on if Fujino doesn't just go back to his preferred insta-corruption style after being done with SAO (That we know he keeps preferring giving the 2 minigames he made over the time still making this, even if one went unreleased). After all the headaches and fan-whining/harassment he suffered from this game for trying to drag the plot and make something different to his usual style it wouldn't surprise if he just went back to it, especially considering he may still go back to finish his Fate games, both of which have that style still XP

I hope he doesn't, I loved the slow build up here. I wouldn't blame him if he went back to finish some of his earlier games like the Nero remake, but I hope he sticks with the slow burn format as it's been incredible.

Finally finished all the current content in this game and I have quite mixed feelings about this game. First shortly about the good stuff - the slow corruption style content is top notch, and all the 'risky' situations and implications and 'accidents' are really good and fun. All animations are really high quality too. I enjoyed all that a lot and this game would be in my personal top 3 if not for the bad parts.

Bad parts are mostly personal preference, and are kind of out of place in NTR game comments section, but it turns out that it is specifically this game that taught me that I don't like NTR. I used to think that I just don't care at all, and can easily play NTR games for corruption content, with all the good stuff that comes alongside it, for most of them I don't even remember whether they were NTR or not since I could easily ignore it.

Be it because I have watch the original anime some years back and liked the characters, or maybe it is this slow style I praised above that leaves more time to actually process whats happening is at fault, but in this game the betrayal part really bothers me a lot. For like more than a half of the game the feeling of betrayal was so strong it literally did all of following: a)made me not actually finish the deed I started the game for b) made me literally lose my appetite and skip dinner c) actually disrupted my sleep for multiple hours.
It seems a bit stupid that porn game can do that, but thats what happened to me in the middle part of this game. Now I do realise that this level of influence the game had on me can be counted as quite an achievement, and that probably exact same thing makes it a masterpiece for actual NTR enjoyers. But for me the lies and hypocricy were way too much, how better would it be for me if the risk element wasn't the infidelity, but some other stuff thats often used in corruption games, like social status, a quest of some kind, or anything else.

The second gripe I have is I believe a bit more objective (even though nothing can really be objective here). The event in later part of the game almost completely broke my interest in the plot. I am talking about the overwriting of memories in SAO recollection. I don't know whether anyone also views it like me, but for me this kind of really close to just replacing the character with another one, but just giving them the same face. It actually works just fine in a faster paced games, where characters are not too well-defined in the first place, but here it feels like it undermines and works against the good slow build up game had going up until then. I guess I can just consider this as a final-before-final, but still everything after that event, even if it is not a lot, feels much less interesting. Almost the same for me as if Fujino just removed Asuna and introduced someone else randomly. The good news for me is that it completely removed the betrayal feeling I complained about above, the bad news is that all slow corruption tension also disappeared completely and I don't feel like I care at all about what comes further. And I believe that was the main thing that made this game actually great.

I have some other minor complaints, like alice subplot is way too abrupt, and MC like always being unreasonably disabled in all social and sexual situations (while at hospital, dude really should have told the doctor that he loses his conciousness after every orgasm, that is actually a really worrying symptom), but those are basically sideplots issues and as such are not important really.

Sorry for this rant, but the conflicted emotions i feel about this game are too much to not express them at least somewhere.

yea the memory alteration made no sense in the context of the entire game.
if all it took for inoda to get his hands on asuna then what was the point of everything else till then?
if you can just alter someones mind in a game then there is no reason to do anything else.
i already had a bad feeling about that when alice first got hypnotized but pushed it away under the assumption that inoda wont get access to that kind of technology.
unfortunately he did which makes everything that happened before that meaningless.
im still gonna play to the end but that one event really put a damper on my mood more so than kirito being a complete retard.

These are my endings:
1.- INODA harem with Asuna Kyoko and Liz and he gets them pregnant, Cuckito who never finds out and signs his child.
2.- The same as the previous one but with Cuckito who likes to watch.
Those are the endings he had planned previously. Now if he says he will add multiple endings, I mean, he will make a DLC maybe.
3.- All the girls get pregnant and Cuckito is devastated and to top it off, he gets his little sister pregnant, he feels guilty.
4.- FOG system fails, Cuckito is left in a wheelchair without moving and Inoda fucks Asuna in front of him XD
5.- INODA and CUCKITO are the only ones who never woke up from SAO, it was all a dream, both FOG and real life, and when they do, they are together in the hospital and without legs and ASUNA is taking care of them XD

Man, I downloaded this game earlier this week, and ended up playing it the entire way through already. I think it altered my brain chemistry. I was never a fan of NTR, but I still played some of the games when the art is good cuz I like disconnecting and just enjoying the scenes for what they are. I've always gelled with Koikatsu scenes in general, so this seemed like it'd probably be good.

But the presentation of the right-click menu allowing you to catch glimpses of corruption being carried out, the scene where you're heading back to the treehouse in the rain as the lightning flashes, watching her perks and stats get changed on you in the background.... hoo boy. I know the game tells you when Asuna's status has changed, but I was going into that pause menu to check her ero zones constantly. The dopamine that triggered when I caught something early was something I've literally never felt in anything before. So now I'm left asking the all-important question.

Am..... am I a cuck?

I need to just take a break from the genre, because playing 23 hours of a single porn game (well, sorta two. I went through part 1 too lol) over the course of 4 days is making me question if I've just unlocked a new addiction. But when I eventually get back to it, I've grabbed Fujino's other works, as well of Scars of Summer and Boy Hero Ken since they were recommended on this page.

I think the main thing I'm looking for in particular are games that allow you to sense something going on despite the player character's obliviousness, even if you're not physically in a position to see or hear it or anything, like this game's pause menu. Is there anything else out there that also scratches that specific itch?

There is nothing wrong about feeling bad in a fucked up situation(which is what this game is) but if it can help you just think of it as an alternative universe that are not the same characters simply because their personnality and level of stupidity sometimes are off the roof and are really not the same as SAO lol, think of them as different characters(at least in part 1 because i didn't play part 2).
Knowing it's soon the end and still no netorase route is sad and i think i'm not the only one who waited for that(since he said it himself).. but now knowing there is mind control/memory alteration at the end makes me wonder what's even the point of part 2? Apparently we start re-corrupting Asuna in part 2 to end up just doing a memo alteration anyway?? i feel like since the end of part 1 he lost interest in the game and/or didn't know how to continue and end it..
What will be his project after SAO btw? any info?

the first 70% or so of part two is pretty good with inoda slowly corrupting asuna more and more as time goes on by using every chance he gets making use of his skill and even getting lizbeth to help him.
it only falls flat once the memory alteration appears where inoda changes all of asunas memories of her and kirito in sao to be about him.
up to that point all inoda managed to do was to get asuna to agree to have sex with him in the game.
but after that its full on slut training which takes pretty much no time at all and makes you wonder why it took so long when corrupting someones mind is that easy.

Yea that's pretty much how I think is what happened. Essentially dudes been working on this single game for about 2 years now, I imagine he's getting a bit tired of it and wants to work on something else, so he sped it along.

Honestly you might not be a cuck actually. It could be that you just like slow burn corruption and manipulation, or stealth sex and implied sex. In my casing while I find NTR and the themes associated with it hot, I only enjoy it as a fantasy. If it happened IRL I'd either break up immediately or punch a dudes lights out (if I could lol).

will the update release on monday the following day?
I am guessing monday or tuesday still but we will see. Fujino said he has a lot of work most of this week so really depends on how much get hes around to doing. He seems to be a hard worker and dedicated to SAO so it wouldn't surprise me if he gets it done but ends up sick again from over working.
