About that, Fujino actually planned to give Alice her own status screen where we could track the progress of her hypnosis. She was definitely supposed to be the second most important heroine after Asuna, with a bigger and more detailed storyline. Maybe she was even meant to become the main girl seducing Kirito. But since her role and plot would have taken up too much space, Fujino ended up changing her. And when she finally appeared and her quests started, many people didn’t like it, because at that time it was much more interesting to follow Asuna’s corruption. I also think a lot of people expected Alice to interact with Kirito directly from the start instead of going down the hypnosis route, and on top of that, the timing of her introduction wasn’t great.

Maybe the Chinese fans really like Saber from Fate, and Alice is the closest thing to it idk.

But if you're talking about the quarantine arch, then after it ended, Inoda should have stopped hitting on Asuna with sex. But gradually, this contract constantly changed in Inoda's favour and became simply impossible for Asuna to fulfil.

I'm assuming Asuna won't have any vastly different endings, either way she'll be a full-fledged whore for Inoda, and variations of that are a minor thing.
