Fujino probably had plans for it early on but the plot went a bit too far away from the original plans so it remained as just an 'extra site'. Recently in the Q&A (I think?) he said he eventually wants all the places in the game used, so it's likely there will at least be one scene over there for one reason or another before the game ends unless he forgets.
I am pretty sure you can't skip that event. You can't continue if you don't spy on them.
Is it? The updates don't typically wind up any longer than they otherwise would have when they take longer to produce. If anything the ones that have had a few extra weeks tacked on have been shorter.

I mean fucking her outdoors in public outside of her boyfriend’s apartment seems like he’s got her whenever he needs her. She’s even going out of her way to quite literally save his life with the whole school thing choosing to do that over reuniting with the boyfriend she’d be separated from for a while. I honestly don’t even know what would be more diabolical for Inoda, continuing to fuck Asuna right next door from Kirito, or him moving into her house to basically have quarantine part 2 with close proximity sex all the time.
There was a process of accepting Asuna to become the fat man's concubine with no future. I remember when they drugged Asuna in the game so she'd agree to have sex in the game with Inoda (on a rainy day) and then manipulated her to stimulate Asuna with the risk of being caught. Steps have been taken to become a woman who cheats on her partner just for the pleasure of sex, a confused woman, without willpower.
Well, yeah, but in both of those occassions hilariously was because Asuna DID have a reason to be there (She was going to 'see Kirito' and he lived next door, lmao). Also, regardless of what she may say, she has grown literally unable to leave Inoda and has literally grown feelings for him after her brainwashing/memory rewrite combined with the non-stop sex that satisfies her like never before, so yeah XP
Nope, Fujino is just like a bit over halfway done overall with the update, though his personal/workplace situation has stabilized and seems to be better than before so we may have the update in the next 2 weeks.
LMAO, no, not even close yet, I doubt we're less than 5, maybe more, updates before the end unless we suddenly get a rush of plot-development going at top speed from next update onwards, the game literally just split into two routes after all so Fujino needs to write the specific differences between both too.
