Probably 1.60 since the third number (as 1.601, 1.602...) is for bug corrections updates. Or it should be 1.55 if he follows the pattern of version numbers he was doing, if you check the change log on the OP, you'll see that it went like 0.1, 0.15, 0.2, 0.25 and so on

It's a bug/mistake from Fujino, but it should not have any consequences in your gameplay experience.
The status page is simply flavor text that it's there to add details to the game, it doesn't influence anything in reality.

Damn this was good but way too rapey. I keep hearing part two is terrible so I'm going to give it a shot now. Of course the best scenes happen IRL instead of in SAO world especially the last scene but I honestly wanted more. Ill check back in with results from part 2. Games like this are why RenPy is still relevant.

That is the school/online avatar of Arita Haruyuki, aka Silver Crow, the MC of Accel World, the 'sister story' of SAO made by the same author, which is arguably taking place in an alternate universe's future of SAO's timeline.
Ironically, originally the author was only able to serialize that story, but asked for SAO to also be published as a condition, which was accepted...ironic as AW was completely overshadowed to the point most people don't even know it exists by the series that originally wasn't even gonna be serialized, which proceeded to be one of the biggest worldwide hits of the past decade while its sibling story got mostly forgotten XD

Expected update date is the 30th following previous update trends
Yeah, pretty much. If we get VERY lucky Fujino may release it a day before, on Sunday, but the most realistic expectations are for Monday 30th :O
We'll probably get a clue on the next progress report on the general release time. If Fujino doesn't mention anything specific about a earlier release, then it's just going to happen on 9/30. But I guess Fujino might pick 9/28 just incase they get behind in schedule. He'll at least specify this so it shouldn't be too hard.

I won't be surprised if this month the update is instead released on Saturday or Sunday so Fujino can have some time for bug fix releases before the month ends. My guess is Sunday is Fujino's non-work day so usually he spends the entire day working on the game to release on Monday. So if he release early he can use Sunday for bug fixes.

It is a bug. The stats goes back to normal later. The stats is a nice feature to track the thoughts and corruption of Asuna but it creates a lot of continuity errors if Fujino is not on point with it. I found another error at the end of the last update around 6/18 or 19 . I wonder if you can catch it too?

I stopped watching it when the girl got mind controlled or blackmailed, or something like that. I forget what it was its been so long, but I don't like NTR in my anime, only in my porn. I know it got resolved pretty quick, but I just los interest when things go that route, in things I actually want to invest time into. Just like the Gundam Seed Freedom movie. lol
Yeah this makes sense. It lines up with how some other months have been, and Fujino's been relatively on time for a while. And when I say on time, I just mean releasing an update once a month unless other circumstances come up. But yeah, next report more than likely has a clue if Fujino intends to release a little earlier or not (which I would prefer rofl).

That's a thing unfortunately, I don't know insert NTR in other medias most of the time fells forced.
Look is like the author/studio see the sales/viewership falling "oh we need to do something, I know how about we include NTR" sort of thing. But also sad is that sometimes this thing works figures

Usually he's very punctual in the update release sometimes just late a day or two.
One thing about the next update it will way bigger than normal we going to get what 8 scenes/CG.
And he didn't say anything were Asuna ones will take place just Alice 2 fog 2 IRL. I wander why

Reminds me of Nononono Manga. Great manga about a girl pretending to be a boy so she can join the olympic ski jumping team. But near its end the ratings dipped so in a panic the artist decided to add fan service, by way of having a shitbag coach find her secret, and blackmail her. So it went from a serious drama about ski jumping to having the coach molesting the girl. It just wasn't the place for that type of thing and killed the manga. Now if it was porn from the start, that would be killer, but it was a total tone shift for the manga.
