In all honesty, all I hope is for Kirito to end up with his sister. I have a soft spot for obsessive girls. She loves her brother and wants him to see the truth. Maybe a bit of an harem for kirito at the end? I like when NTR stories end with the cucked winning

Well I certainly hope he'll end with somebody. I mean, the game is basically all about other girls' schemes to get him, so forcing the ending of him being alone would be... well, forced and not really fitting for narrative presented so far. Even if during the process he will develop some fethishes related to cucking/voyeurism, I still hope for some kind of positive ending. Since so far he too is getting 'corrupted' bit by bit and also has sexual encounters fairly often. So this doesn't feel like hardrdcore nor super cruel NTR, therefore I hope it will continue with spirit like that. Even more so, you have choices to either allow or deny the Priurience stat rising, and author said in the game beginning, that in the later part if will ifluence things. So it is fair to assume there will be at least 2 possible endings and the one with high stat would make him more sexually open and in positive relationship.

Or maybe all of this is just my wishful thinking. But I really do hope it'll be like that.

Based off the progress report, I'm going to assume we won't make it to the weekend. Part of me was honestly expecting Fujino to maybe focus on releasing the update in December instead of November. Cause if Fujino decides to release earlier before the holidays start, then there's not much development time between November and whenever they release in December. But eh it's whatever they want in the end. Entirely possible Fujino takes a break for December and the next update afterwards is in January.

Since Fujino is starting to have to deal with more bugs every update i wouldn't mind if he skipped this month and give us a bigger update next month to end 2024 more fulfilled i guess.

I don't see a bright future between Asuna and Inoda, in the sense that if Asuna gets into trouble, really big trouble, would Inoda save her or tell her: if you want to be saved, get fucked?

Girls rarely have a good future in NTR games. Especially in games where girls cheat on their boyfriends/grooms/husbands with homeless people or schoolchildren. Sometimes such endings look extremely illogical. For example, when a wife leaves her husband and a normal life for sex with homeless people. Lust prevails over reason. Fujino, unlike the others, is trying to explain Asuna's fall somehow. And why should Asuna worry, her family is rich.

The main thing here is that Kirito's brains are not burned. It is better to let everyone leave him and he will continue to live alone for his own pleasure than he will really become a weak-willed vegetable in the hospital. That's who has a really unenviable fate..

Don't worry so much, there are still about 3 weeks before the update is released, and 2 reports. It is too early to judge what the volume of the update will be. And about the holidays - Fujino is chinese, as far as I understand, they have a New Year in February. For Fujino, December is just the month in which the year ends according to the global calendar.

Christmas is a huge deal in Japan where he is living now. Depending on what his day job is, he might have be very busy in December. Also last year he released a surprise bonus game on Christmas. So I say December could be a slow month for us.

In that case, it would be better for Fujino to release a big event for SAO in honor of Christmas, a drunken Kirito is sleeping at the table, well, next to him.... Well, you know. By the way, this could happen in Kirito's apartment, and Suguha would finally get the direct evidence she needed.

I'm just basing this off of the last battle event. Since it had 15 CGs basically dedicated to that one event alone, I don't know if Fujino has enough time to work on a lot of things like that. It also probably gets harder to pull that off too if they put some extra scenes or CGs for Thursday and Friday. And since the first progress report mentions fixing bugs, we can probably make a decent guess/hypothesis on how much work a battle event update takes and how much less content Fujino is able to make when it's spent fixing bugs.

But ultimately this assumes Fujino doesn't just zoom to Saturday and make Thursday and Friday extremely short.

The reason I mentioned holidays is because Fujino released v0.2 on December 24th 2023. The previous update before that was December 6th 2023 and that was v0.15. The december 6th update was basically the November one, but it came out late. Anyways, the point is that Fujino probably is either busy or maybe just choosing to relax going into the New Year, so November and December might be a little weird/wonky.

I would not use the last battle event as the standard. I think Fujino made a lot more CGs for the last event since he wanted to show off Asuna's new outfit. If you look at the before battle events there was only around 6 CGs with variations based on Lust levels. I would also assume he is done with bug fixing so he should be focusing on new events now.

To be fair, since the assumption that the weekend would probably be part of the ritual event, it's probably battle CGs, so at worse 6 like you said, and then one entire separate event that could have another 5 sets of CGs. Kind of like how the treehouse event was basically everything put into that one update. It had like you said 6 CGs, but then it had the treehouse scenes that Fujino didn't have enough time to put the Asuna pov until like 2 months later (cause they took a break).

That is what I was saying originally. Saturday should be the ritual day with the battle scenes and a long event, probably an impregnation event. 2.5 weeks to do all that seem reasonable. If you are saying the update won't include the weekend then the update will only have Thursday and Friday which seems WAY too short for an update.
