There should be another progress report tomorrow. Last year we got a surprise bonus game on New Year with no notice so maybe he will do it again. There is no way to know until the day passes.
Last year he did something for Xmas. But the message about needing to delay the next update until January implied that there wasn't going to be any special thing happening for December, so it's best to expect nothing. The "special thing" if at all was probably Fujino on the Patreon side of things replying to a lot of people with Merry Christmas!

Does more interesting mean being irrelevant by any chance? this is a porn game, and suguha literally got erased from it, spare me, this is an NTR game, a corruption game, and not a vanilla one where she gets to hook up with Kirito.Lol, what? Most people became Suguha fans AFTER she broke up with Hebishima.Before that, barely anyone talked about her. But a big chunk of supporters wanted Hebishima gone, which forced Fujino to change her character—ironically making her more interesting than she was before.
In any case, Suguha's character has already been destroyed and is already irrelevant in this game, it's not really worth discussing about it.

Was Suguha really any good when she was with Hebishima? She was just in a generic corruption plot as a girl who is related to Kirito. If you removed the relation to Kirito, nothing would change. It was not like anyone even interacted with her much back then. Now she is more relevant than ever since she directly gets involved with other characters and the plot. If you think someone is irrelevant if they are not being in a NTR scenario in a NTR game then okay then.
I'm hoping the dev just makes a solid update for six weeks and then polishes it up for end of jan.

I guess whats left for this thread is depression and acceptance.. i mean the last 2 is like foreshadowing of the actual last event of this game xD i guess we gonna go through it all in the end.

I wonder what other excuse Fujino has in mind to speed up Asuna's corruption and finish the game, it doesn't matter, as long as he doesn't touch Suguha, otherwise I'd have to ask what he smoked to get to all this xD

i completely disagree with everything you said. this is the only game of fujino sensei's that i genuinely liked. unlike his previous works, where the story wasn’t as fleshed out, this one actually shows that he cares about other perspectives of his game. i think it’s great that he’s trying to take things in a new direction. and what's wrong with having a happy ending? if kirito is gonna lose asuna to pignoda, why not also let him have his harem or a happy ending with suguha too? not every story needs to be dark or end in tragedy. sometimes, it’s nice to see characters get what they deserve after everything they go through. everyone deserves a bit of happiness, especially after facing all those struggles. and kirito definitely deserves it

Because December is the most chaotic and busy month for everyone, plus it's better that way we give him time to organize his ideas. It would be great if he made updates every 2 months, but I see it as impossible since his whiny Chinese compatriots on Patreon would complain quickly.

There is nothing vanilla nor sane at all in the approach Suguha is taking towards her Onii-chan, the complete opposite in fact, at best the nicest thing you can say of her is that she's still the only one that genuinely cares about him in this game, but I suppose he must be one of those guys that think if the game doesn't end with all females around the MC being fucked by someone else and not giving a shit about him then 'the NTR is ruined', and it doesn't matter how much better the writing or the relevance of the character got, so yeah, better to just let him miss out on the most unique character and plot on this game
Yeah, that guy has made it very clear since his first post commenting about Suguha that he thinks all the good and interesting things that made her character unique 'ruined her' and made her 'not worth talking about' because she freed herself from the NTR cliches (Which hilariously not only made her a million times more interesting but also, as previously stated, weren't even REALLY NTR at all unless you stretch the meaning of the genre). The most ironic part is the fact that they're literally referring to her current situation as "a vanilla one of Suguha hooking up with Kirito" when it couldn't be the furthest thing from that XD
