Some people are way too harsh. The build up has already been so long, the pacing for part 2 has been slow for large parts, it has all been building up to this point. We still have the final pov for more perspective so I don’t get the people complaining about Asuna falling so quick. Like have you not seen her trying to resist inoda for so long (albeit poorly)?

The plot has to progress and fujino even added more reasons this update like doing the ritual makes women super horny and pent up - even irl. We’ve already gone through a whole week of the hotel quarantine so this feels natural and expected to me. Hopefully we can now see a lot of irl sex

I think one issue is that, as you pointed out, it was predictable, which isn’t ideal—people want to be surprised by the story. Another problem is the long build-up to the ritual. It created a lot of hype, with many expecting something on the level of the treehouse event or rainy night, but in the end, it felt kinda underwhelming. There’s overall a noticeable decline in creativity, which used to be one of Fujino’s strongest aspects. In this update, he once again borrowed ideas from other NTR game. Feels like he just wants to wrap this up as quickly as possible for his own sake. I don't blame him, it's his first project of such scale and he is still doing his best to please the audience.

I didn't catch that "if only we'd met first" status update. I would love to see an OAV style "what if?" scenario where Inoda takes Kirito's place in the first season of SAO. Imagine Inoda failing his way to the top, giving all the ladies the attention they want while Kirito is too busy to notice. Meanwhile, Kirito becomes a lackey and somehow retains memories of the original reality.

I can spoil you how that would go right now: Everyone dies and they never get past the first few floors XD Like, literally, Inoda doesn't even get to meet Asuna, because without Kirito she dies before the first Floor Boss battle, and Inoda literally would die out in the fields before they even announce the death game if he legit tried to be as active as Kirito, given how useless he is
