It seems to me that many people are reading too much in this Fujino SAO verse, when there's nothing so special about it's just another by the numbers, trope-ridden NTR plot, but mind you with all that very fun to play or watch.
The story is loosely based upon a somewhat successfull anime/LN which is the hook to bring people around.
The main characters are the usual garden variety NTR, self-righteous bad fuck naive good guy (cuck) MC, delusional/ gullible sex frustrated covert whore (FMC) and a plot armored Bull, old/ugly bastard, fat neet, Blond chad, shota.
The secondary characters The blackmailer, The Sadist, The Stalker, the involuntary (hypnotized), the dominatrix, they are all here.
The plot development, always will be made to excuse in any way, shape or form the FMC for falling that's why there's the impression that she always win.
The order of sex scenes goes like this, Groping, HJ, footjob, BJ, titjob, Assjob, thigh sex, forced sex (rape/blackmail), willing sex, anal sex, condom sex, raw sex no creampie, creampie sex, fetish sex (bdsm, outdoor, couples bedroom...etc), bull domination, pregnancy and end.
I know it's kind dry, but anything here sound familiar?
With all that you can see how simple the NTR genre/plot really is, anything beyond that is pure rationalization in one way or another, what set some works a part is the quality or how feasible the narrative/plot is, how good the art or animations are and the author's commitment with his vision/work. Fujino did a good job in 2 and a avarege job in 1. These are the NTR guidelines, the problem was Fujino putting all them togheter in one single plot but in the end we can't say there's no consistency or logic in this game, Fujino is doing what he said "Krito is a cuck, Asuna will fall and Inoda it's just a toll" .
The problem for many with that there's no surprises, but that's not entirely Fujino's fault is more related to NTR as genre locking authors in a box.
The thing that drive some people mad about his choices are the plot conveniences, but those are very simple to explain, Kirito in Canon SAO always end up winning regardless the process, Fujino Verse he always lose, Asuna is the incorruptible high moral GF, fujino verse she is a gullible covert whore but whithout that nothing would made sense in the subersive logic of NTR.
