In the quarantine situation, both Asuna and Kirito have gone off in their relationships with others, but Asuna's return will cool Kirito's desire. Suguha and Sinon may have to take more aggressive action. Especially Suguha. It may seem unlikely, but it can be noted that Kirito began to progress only when Asuna was far away from him. Well, I think most fans of the game liked the "new" Suguha on Kirito's side, because Kirito himself, with his stupidity and complete blindness and deafness to the world around him, began to annoy. Well, hypnosis is definitely possible, especially considering what the Council is capable of. They can literally turn men into women, and we've already seen the effects of their advanced hypnosis through various items. Even though the Shadow Fox mentioned that Alice had high resistance to it, it still didn’t save her so in theory, it could work on Suguha too.
But I agree it would feel like a huge step back. If she were to fall again due to something like hypnosis or blackmail, it would really cheapen all the buildup. At this point, if something is going to happen to her, it needs to be more complex and earned, not just some easy plot device.

Knowing that Asuna is cheating is generally the cornerstone of the whole game. It will only work at the end or near the end. If Kirito doesn't give up on a relationship with Suguha, then why is she angry? She's already mad at Asuna, so it's Asuna who needs to be afraid.

There may be an ending in which no one will know anything. Asuna would call Kirito and tell him she was busy right now, and Kirito would reply that he was busy too and couldn't meet. Then we will be shown the apartments of Inoda and Kirito. In one of them, Inoda fucks with Asuna, and in the other, Kirito fucks with Suguha. Both lie to each other and pretend that they are still together. It's not a bad option, I think, but Sugaha is probably trying to get Kirito to leave Asuna.
