yeah, it's pretty unclear what exactly would happen since there are a lot of things to take care of. if hebishima didn't become a girl and continued his arc with suguha, then maybe those endings would've been pretty easy to achieve. i think those endings would still make sense by adding some extra info like... in the oblivious ending, it'd stay the same as i mentioned, but kirito might keep seeing suguha and follow the incest path while keeping it a secret from asuna just like she's doing with kirito. and the netorase one is where he might not be with suguha since he'd actually like asuna cheating on him. in both endings, it's still a bad ending for him, just one being a little less bad xD

But what if, when the veil of trust is lifted, Kirito can think critically? He will remember the shitty events in the tent, in the tent near the base, he will remember Asuna's strange behavior, the image of Inoda's cousin from the hotel and Asuna will coincide in his head, he will understand that during the ritual, Asuna's heart was beating not because she was fighting, but because Inoda was fucking her. The idea is simple, but interesting. The fact that Kirito's stupidity is based on his complete trust in Asuna. Fujino could have made a good ending out of this, with drama, scandal, mutual insults and vindictive Suguha.

The other thing is that Fujino leads Asuna to complete submission to Inode. And the whole point of the endings may just come down to Kirito's humiliation. Forgetful or a willing cuckold, the point in both endings will be the same - Asuna doesn't care about Kirito, and Kirito himself will simply be humiliated. This, in my opinion, is a bit weak and boring for such a game. I would like radically opposite results of the game in the endings.

you're very true about all those scenes coinciding in kirito's mind, since fujino sensei has set them up in a way that could really make kirito understand in a cinematic way. like before seeing any asuna x inoda events, he always thought to himself "why her voice seems familiar?", "she looks a little like asuna.", etc. but still, it all feels kind of unlikely. it'd only be achievable if fujino sensei pulls an alicization where kirito ends up in a coma state just like in the canon, and suguha is the one who takes care of him this time until he wakes up and comes to his senses... that might be the only way to end the game in a kino way if fujino sensei wants to avoid the typical ntr ending

Everything is kind of unstable and fickle. Kirito sort of talks to Klein about it, but then gets angry at any hint of Asuna's betrayal. Kirito, never once, in the entire game, talks about female domination and humiliation, then suddenly becomes a lover of such entertainment. If Fujino wants to lead Kirito to something like this (a Willing cuckold\netorase), he should somehow develop this topic more closely and in more detail into the game. In short, a similar theme in the plot jumps from extreme to extreme and creates holes in the narrative. At the moment, a voluntary ending doesn't look entirely possible, and there's not much time left until the end.

It's not that far away, the game is close to completion and most of the main events have already happened. So, as they say in our north, "Ending is coming." No, you can't go to the menu during the dialogues. This is only possible in a free game, when the player is given control of the character.

You both gotta remember one thing: The "only 2 endings" thing was something Fujino said BEFORE actually starting part 2's development, and probably part of his 'original plans'...which have massively changed since then as we all know, especially those that have been around since then or before. Even before the change in the story made it obvious those 2 endings wouldn't work as simply as before anymore, the recent Q&A also hinted that there would be MORE than just those 2 endings available, and the latest update seemed to further cement that: The fact there are specific scenes that ONLY trigger if you've done all of Kirito's "slip-ups" with ALL the girls rather than just one, independently of your prurience level or not, at the very least seem to hint towards one more, not yet defined, ending.

Obviously, we don't have oficcial confirmation or anything like that yet, but from my understanding of how the game has been going lately we seen to have triggers for at least 3 possible endings: Ending with low-prurience Kirito, ending with high/full prurience Kirito, and ending where you had Kirito willingly 'cheat' with all the girls (As shown by the exclusive scenes that only trigger if you did that which seem to suggest his mind is changing if you do, that "Sugu is mine"-line before he almost jumped her in the bath felt like a really blatant clue imo XP).

A funny ending would be in which Asuna discovers Kirito's infidelity, tells him that he broke her heart, she was an honest and loving bride all the time, and he betrayed her. Throws Kirito and goes to fuck Inoda. The ending is "Maximum hypocrisy."

p.s. - Or she doesn't leave Kirito, but tells him that she will forgive him if he lets her fuck with others. So much for a willing cuckold.

Well, Fujino sets the bar too high. After a series of games without a plot, with instacorruption, he creates a game with a contentedly entertaining plot, embedding characters and events there. The council and the goddess who wants to be reborn, the company of Asuna's father and experiments on humans, antennas and mind control, the Administrator, who is unclear - a real goddess or just a crazy AI. Even Asuna's betrayal, it seems to me, is not even in the first place in this game. It would be a shame if, after all this, Fujino, he just messed up with the production of the ending. But if Fujino's talent is simply not enough for this and the only thing he can do well is porn scenes in Koikatsu, then we really can only hope.
