But the last part about the ending + Fujino's Q&A are hints that regardless of the players choices the endings will not please
everyone which they shouldn't either way, and Fujino saying even Asuna and Kirito end up togheter she will continue her relantionship with Inoda, tell us 2 endings with several variations, one where Kirito stays knowing he's a cuck, the other where he stays and don't know, one where they break up because of cheating and Kirito leaves her , or they break up not because Asuna's cheating but for a lame excuse and she leaves him and they break up because the cheating but Asuna is forgiven promissing never do it again and yet keep having sex with Inoda in secret.

Anyway, Fujino is still dependent on the opinion of the fans. We know this from Fujino's jokes about the "low impact of Asuna's memory change." So if the fans start a riot demanding to "punish the whore" (or there's some oil sheik slapping his face with bundles of dollars), then Fujino will, probably, make (relatively)good ending.

For some reason, there are no other characters in the endings that you have suggested. I think the endings in the game will be divided into low and high "prurience" and, accordingly, whether Kirito stayed with Suguha or not. But the game is almost completely linear and, as it seems to me, the endings will differ in minimal details.

Kirito finds out about the betrayal, but he forgive Asuna and she will continue cheating with Inoda? Of course Kirito is dumb and blind, but he is blind to non-obvious things. If it's pointed out to his face that Asuna cheated on him with Inoda, I think even Kirito will realize that Asuna can't be trusted. And if he forgives her, then he will probably control her and there will be no more trust. Kirito is dumb, but it's unlikely that he can be fooled by the same situation several times (if that were the case, he wouldn't be working with the police). If Asuna doesn't want to be controlled, that's another matter. I'm not defending Kirito, but it's already annoying, to be honest. Fujino is too much abuse by Kirito's stupidity, it has reached the point where Kirito is no longer a character, but just a set of pixels for the player.

Huh mate, I agree — having the option to log off vs stay in FOG would’ve added some solid tension and branching opportunities. But if NTR Online is even loosely following the SAO universe — especially the Aincrad arc — then that kind of choice doesn’t really make sense.

In Aincrad, logging off literally equals death. You’re trapped, full dive, no exit unless you clear the game or someone yanks the NerveGear off your corpse. And even in ALO, where they’re technically not under death threat, they’re still locked into the system until the real-world antagonist (Sugou) is dealt with.

It’s only in later arcs — like Gun Gale Online and Alicization — where players can freely log in and out without life-or-death stakes.

So yeah, as a mechanic, the “go to bed or stay in FOG” idea is cool — but unless Fujino decided to toss out the original SAO rules completely, it doesn’t really fit the context. That said, with how loosely NTR Online treats canon, I wouldn’t be surprised if Kirito could just hit logout while Asuna gets railed in a love hotel.

Thanks for replying! I will admit that I've never seen any of the SAO stuff, but ironically this game is making me wanna start the series. I def respect how narratively driven this is - I'm just used to branching choices due to VNs I guess. I love my experience so far w/ this game though.

As for the gallery I’m not really sure about that; to me, it feels more like a gameplay feature than something in-universe.
But when it comes to memory erasure, despite everything, Kirito clearly has a weakness he can barely meet with the Administrator, and even then, he's unable to retain anything from their conversations.
It’s like in fantasy worlds: some characters can sense mana well and use high-rank magic, while for others, even basic spells are a struggle.
If we talk about Inoda’s blog as mentioned earlier, it’s likely something made for players so we can read his thoughts directly.
But it could also be explained by the idea that the Administrator is directly influencing Kirito during those moments and because of his "flaw," he forgets everything afterward.
You could theorize that she connects with the Chosen Ones in their dreams because the mind is more flexible and open then, making communication easier, especially with Kirito.
IRL world, especially while awake, her connection and influence are probably much weaker.
It’s a bit like those moments in fiction when the protagonist is overwhelmed and his "dark side" takes over but afterward, he remembers nothing.

Endings are hard brother, even for experienced writers they more often then not only worry if the ending it's coherent with the narrative, if covers possible loose ends (plot holes) and if is "a good enough" payoff, pleasing the reader it's the last thing, because they know it's impossible to please everyone.

My reason it's simple the way Fujino is moving the story, i don't think the secondary characters will be part of the ending, he's using them as steps (plot devices) to get there and as consequences after, like Kirito been able to choose one the girls for instance, the ending on itself will be only between Kirito and his decision about Asuna and the others actions.

The only secondary character that i think will be part of it with some influence will be the Admin, i believe she will be the one to show Kirito the whole truth about everyone and i mean everyone Asuna, inoda, Sugu, Sinon and so on and everething they did and according with the prurience value give to Kirito the choice of remember and forgive(willing cuck/humiliation), forget and be cucked(oblivious cuck) low value prurience, remember and enjoy with the girls (Cuck Voyer/Reverse NTR) or stay with her because she wants him or alone (Kirito leaving remembering or not) high value prurience.

This way Fujino don't have to change Kirito's personality leaving that up to the players.

Boy oh Boy, the argument about Sugu and Inoda is on fire, you can make a entire script for a game with the last 20 pages here it's fun to read.

In reality what's going on is a problem that Fujino always have in his writing, but lately have become more noticeable, Pacing.

The truth is the game was always a "slow burn pace" but now is getting monotonous and that is beginning to affect in one place where it shouldn't, sex scenes, don't get me wrong Fujino sttil delivery great scenes quality wise and they are exciting but not as they used to be, because the plot behind then are making the new scenes more and more predictable.

This late in the plot there's no much that Fujino can do to fix the pace, but the fall in excitement he need to address, since he sttill have at least 6 months of updates, the only way is with new things, new ideas for or revision of characters plotlines.

Yui inclusion is one example of a "new thing", Fujino did that to keep the FOG plot alive, because after the ritual he wouldnt have a reason to go back there before the ending now he does Yui and her interactions with everyone Inoda in particular because of her new design MilfYui everyone knows what is going to happen.

Fujino is using the concept new ideas/revision in the Inoda's Harem to give new life in the secondary charecters plot like Sugu.

People may not like it, but for the sake of excitement he can't do that, move Sugu sexual plot, only with Kirito since Fujino wrote him not to be sexual exciting to contrast with Inoda which is, if you pay atention in Kirito's sex scenes they have the same quality, but they lack variations, they are short in time and lately Fujino is putting Kirito in a submissive position on purpose, so in a story where the excitement is fading you can't use a character design like this to bring it back.

I think even if Fujino make a ending where Kirito stay with Sugu, she will cheat on him given how Kirito is writen.
A simple theory Fujino maybe already have the bull for that Agil, it is suspect that all the sudden a character almost forgotten reapears in the pivotal plot point to fight/help along side Sugu and Sinon against the council, she was always in close contact with him, he always is mentoring her and he is one NTR trope Fujino didn't use yet BBC.

Hotel ark was a nice idea for 2-3 updates and should have been ended already, a long time ago, it's a drag now, game feels repetitive cause kirito can't even meet asuna irl anymore. no interesting scenarios. just fucking in the hotel.

Guys I really need help, I've been able to play this game through Crossover/wine on my mac without problems since version 0.7.... now I can't even get the game to load at all. In fact, it does load the music and even sound of the main menu when scrolling, but all I see is the app title bar. I noticed that this happens with any game that contains "v8_context_snapshot.bin" in it. I tried figuring it out online for help, but have not had any luck. Could someone please help me figure it out or if another mac user has another way to play it.

That’s one way to handle it, yeah—but it also feels like a cop-out. Instead of taking responsibility for writing real emotional decay or believable betrayal, Fujino just dumps it all on some “Admin reveal” at the end. It's like: “Here’s a magic memory dump. Pick your flavor of cuck.”

The problem is, if Kirito’s choice boils down to “forgive,” “forget,” “enjoy,” or “walk away,” then it means nothing actually mattered along the way. It’s not about story progression—just damage control wrapped in fetish logic.

And let’s not pretend the memory rewrite wasn’t a narrative crutch. Asuna falling for Inoda without it? Completely unbelievable. It’s like expecting someone to leave a top-tier partner for a bloated pig just because he’s good at licking. You don’t cheat out of nowhere unless there’s a slow burn, conflict, guilt, something. Not just “Oops, your brain’s been tweaked, now suck the fat guy off.”

That’s not drama. That’s post-hoc justification to make the NTR land without effort.
If you want players to feel the betrayal, you can’t just Ctrl+Z their logic and agency. Otherwise, why not let Inoda hypnotize everyone and call it a day?

The ending won’t matter if the journey was hollow. And right now, it feels like Fujino’s so focused on the fetish payoff that he forgot betrayal only hits when the love felt real.
