In the same way Inoda's oblivious ass didn't realize there was something weird going on and thought it was his 'charm' what made Liz obey him in the previous update when he made her a Succubus, the same happened here, he didn't realize what went on at all XDIn fact, it doesn't matter why this happened. The main thing is that it happened at all? What have we seen? The sound wave "comes from around the corner", and then the sound disappears. Perhaps these are Inode's forces, or perhaps these are just the antenna forces that the Administrator activated and Inoda has nothing to do with it at all.
And Inoda's reaction to this was close to 0. If Inoda realized that he could now hide from Kirito in the real world, he would jump for joy for half of the update, and hide from Kirito for the other half of the update.(by the way, that's how he could have found out that Kirito suddenly became a gigachad)

The option is possible, but too fantastic for this stage of the game. I'm still betting that the Administrator activated the antenna so that Kirito wouldn't go around the corner of the house and find out the truth ahead of time (one of the antennas was built right behind the house), It seems to me that Inoda has nothing to do with it at all. As usual, Inoda's luck was that Asuna made a sound at the wrong time and forced the Administrator to act, as she saw what was happening from inside Kirito's head.
If the "gigachad-mode" can be explained by the fact that the Administrator switches the personality in Kirito's head, then Inoda's ability to "refract and stop sound and light waves" in the real world is already impossible to explain.
Magically switching someone's personality and controlling their memories so they don't remember anything without even being physically present is already something insanely unrealistic and magical bud, so I don't think trying to apply 'logic' here is really valid XDThe option is possible, but too fantastic for this stage of the game. But before that, we were already told that there is a SEED in Kirito's head, but what is it on? Something like a chip or, just the same, Kirito's second personality who sleeps with the knowledge of the SEED.

I agree that looking for logic in both cases is a lost cause, but still, manipulations inside the head are much more possible and realistic than manipulations of a fat bastard with real-world physics, at the atomic-wave level.

That's as much of a dumb explanation as Inoda's powers working IRL would be (Especially as Yui would have no physical way of doing that, Kirito literally stopped hearing the sounds IRL, not only through the phone), but IIRC we actually have confirmation of the opposite, Yui herself said she missed out on them fucking becasue she was busy with something else XP

But what about camera communication and Yui be able to contact Asuna in real life? Mind you i haven't played this update yet - i just remember Kirito setting this up. Even he logged off and logged in FOG to confirm it working?
If Yui has got powers like this - bringing Quinella to the real world would make less sense. Also, doesn't make her a target to certain identities who plotted to bring Goddess to real life?
