I downloaded the latest version, having previously only watched the first one. I'm confused by the choice at the beginning of the game: which one is a continuation of the first version, or is it now a set of separate development branches? Where should I start?
It's basically "chapters" or arcs the dev has divided part 2 into, if you select one then you get further choices to start the game in one specific day of a certain month XP The topmost choice is the first one, then you choose the earliest day in the list to start from the beginning.
The division was originally mainly to help start the game in the latest days without the dev having to provide saves because every new version makes the old version's saves corrupted data, but it's also serving now to start the game late in the timeline to see split routes/choices with different options without having to replay the whole game :O

It's wild how much things have changed. When I started playing this, I was rooting and cheering for Inoda and for Kirito to get his soul cucked out of him. Nowadays I can't fucking stand Asuna or Inoda and am cheering the shit out of Giga Chad Kirito. It's impressive lmao. Was actually really glad Fujino's planning a good ending for him while another ending has Inoda lose Asuna. Fitting. The slut doesn't give a shit about Inoda. Just that the fat fuck has a big D.
